Abstract
Una nueva composición de combustible útil para las celdas de combustible catalítico se compone de al menos dos componentes. El componente de combustible primario es un compuesto de superficie activa, tal como metanol, que es una fuente de y actúa para prevenir la descomposición indeseada del combustible auxiliar. El combustible auxiliar es un compuesto inorgánico que contiene hidrógeno con un alto potencial de reducción, tal como NaBH4, que actúa como una fuente altamente reactiva de energía y sirve para catalizar la oxidación catalítica del combustible primario.
