Abstract

Данное изобретение относится к способу контроля нежелательной вегетации в месте возделывания растений, способ включает стадии обеспечения в указанном месте растения, которое содержит как минимум одну нуклеотидную последовательность, кодирующую дикий тип гидроксифенил пируват диоксигеназы или мутированную гидроксифенил пируват диоксигеназу (мут-HPPD), которая устойчива или толерантна к кумарон-производному гербициду, и/или нуклеотидную последовательность, кодирующую дикий тип гомогентисат соланесил трансферазы или мутированную гомогентисат соланесил трансферазу (мут-HST), которая устойчива или толерантна к кумарон-производному гербициду, и применения в указанном месте эффективного количества указанного гербицида. Изобретение далее относится к растениям, включающим мут-HPPD, и к способам получения таких растений.
