Abstract
Данное изобретение относится к способу контроля нежелательной вегетации в месте выращивания растений, включающему стадии обеспечения в указанном месте растения, которое содержит как минимум одну нуклеиновую кислоту, содержащую нуклеотидную последовательность, кодирующую дикий тип или мутированный тип протопорфириногеноксидазы (PPO), которое устойчиво или толерантно к PPO ингибирующим гербицидам, путем применения на указанном месте эффективного количества указанных гербицидов. Изобретение далее относится к растениям, содержащим дикий тип или мутированный тип PPO энзимов и к способам создания таких растений.
