Предложена шина (10) для большегрузного транспортного средства, по меньшей мере в одном из бортов которой удовлетворяются следующие три условия (А)-(С): (А) угол, образованный между прямой линией L1 и осевым направлением, больше или равен 30° и меньше или равен 60°; (В) минимальное расстояние D между выходящим участком каркасного слоя и свободным концом завернутого участка каркасного слоя меньше или равно 50% максимального расстояния Dмежду выходящим участком и завернутым участком каркасного слоя и (С) шина также содержит, аксиально рядом с каркасным слоем, дополнительный упрочняющий слой (80), в котором угол, образованный между прямой линией L2 и аксиальным направлением, больше или равен 60°, а угол, образованный между прямой линией L3 и осевым направлением, меньше или равен 30°.
