Abstract

Настоящее изобретение относится к содержащей цефалоспорин композиции, пригодной для лечения и профилактики бактериальной инфекции. В одном из вариантов осуществления композиция содержит наночастицы, содержащие цефалоспорин и по меньшей мере один стабилизатор поверхности. Наночастицы обладают эффективным средним размером менее чем приблизительно 2000 нм. В другом варианте осуществления композиция представляет собой композицию с модифицированным высвобождением, которая при введении пациенту доставляет цефалоспорин бимодальным, мультимодальным или непрерывным образом. Изобретение также относится к лекарственным формам, содержащим такие компоненты, и к способам лечения и профилактики бактериальной инфекции.
