Abstract
Алкантиол, алкилтиогликолят, диалкилсульфид или диалкилдисульфид можно использовать для обработки поверхности сплава серебра, содержащего германий в количестве, эффективном для уменьшения пятен перегрева и/или потускнения. Было найдено, что обработка уменьшает дальнейшее потускнение так, что образец можно поместить вблизи над 20% раствором полисульфида аммония в течение по меньшей мере 30 мин при сохранении в основном непотускневшего вида. Обработку можно провести в конце изготовления изделия для придания изделию способности сохранять непотускневший вид как во время перевозки до места продажи, так и при последующей экспозиции в течение длительного времени.
