Abstract

Se configuro un grupo de transductores en serie de elemento doble para la inspección automatizada y ultrasónica de una costura soldada de material autentico mediante el uso de una representación grafica de la costura soldada. La soldadura se divide en zonas y se seleccionan transductores independientes para inspeccionar cada zona. Un transductor de ondas de deslizamiento se utiliza para inspeccionar la zona mas alta y un transductor de onda tipo L se utiliza para inspeccionar una zona inferior. El transductor de onda tipo L esta conectado a un procesador de computadora que cumple con una doble función: se utiliza con un set de posiciones de compuerta y ampliación para procesar reflexiones directas del sonido emitido, y con otro set de posiciones de compuerta y ganancias para procesar reflexiones de sonido indirectas convertidas a modo. Las posiciones de compuerta se determinan midiendo las distancias de paso de sonido en el diagrama. Las placas de prueba se utilizan para determinar las posiciones de sensibilidad y confirmar el ancho de campo adecuado para cada transductor.
