Abstract

The control arrangement controls the damping regulator 9 so as to operate a flue-mounted flue-gas damper 6 in order to entirely or partly throttle the discharge of flue gases from the boiler 1 via the flue 2 after interruption of the burner 27 of the boiler 1. By using a system 32 with an incombustible medium 33, which system comprises a drive assembly 34, arranged essentially at the side of and/or below the flue 2, to drive the damping regulator 9, via said incombustible medium, against the action of a return arrangement 16, advantageous operation of the damping regulator is achieved. The system with the incombustible medium preferably consists of a pressurized- water system. <IMAGE>
