Control method for a circulating water heater (1) with a sealed combustion chamber (2) and removal by suction of the waste gases supported by a fan (10), the circulating water heater being fed from a gas pipe (28) provided with a valve (27, 29) and monitored by a flame sensor (31), and there being provided a control and regulating device (15) which governs the fan and the gas valve.
