Abstract
The package (1), which is impermeable to air and water vapour and is intended, in particular, for zinc/air hearing aid batteries of the button cell type, is formed partially from a tear-resistant, preferably transparent film (2) of PVC or polyvinylidene chloride with cup-shaped elevations (3) for accommodating the button cells and partially from an aluminium closure foil (5) which is sealed flatly onto said film. To remove a button cell (4), the latter needs only to be pressed from the outside through the easily tearable aluminium foil. In the case of particularly reliable packages for despatch to areas with an extremely humid or dry climate, both the cup film and the closure foil can be based on a multi-layered plastic/metal composite material. <IMAGE>
