Claims (16)
1. Fremgangsmåde til forarbejdning af materiale (E), der har et organisk indhold, hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter: opvarmning af en batch af materialet i en batchforarbejdningsanordning (16) med en reduceret oxygenatmosfære for at omdanne mindst noget af det organiske indhold til gas for at producere syntesegas; hævning af temperaturen på syntesegassen og opretholdelse af syntesegassen på den forhøjede temperatur i en opholdstid, der er tilstrækkelig til at nedbryde ethvert langkædet carbonhydrid eller flygtige organiske forbindelser deri; overvågning af kalorieværdi for den producerede syntesegas, når syntesegassens kalorieværdi er under en forhåndsbestemt tærskel, omdirigeres syntesegassen, med en lav kalorieværdi, til en brænder i en kedel (22) for at producere damp; og når syntesegassens kalorieværdi overstiger den forhåndsbestemte tærskel, omdirigeres syntesegassen, med en høj kalorieværdi, til en gasmotor (40) for at producere elektricitet.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvilken fremgangsmåde endvidere omfatter en første forhåndsbestemt tærskel og en anden forhåndsbestemt tærskel, og hvor: når syntesegassens kalorieværdi er under den første forhåndsdefinerede tærskel, omdirigeres af syntesegassen, med en lav kalorieværdi, til en brænder i en kedel (22) for at producere damp i en første driftsmodus; når syntesegassens kalorieværdi overstiger den første forhåndsdefinerede tærskel, omdirigeres syntesegassen, med en høj kalorieværdi, til en gasmotor (40) for at producere elektricitet i en anden driftsmodus; og når syntesegassens kalorieværdi falder under en anden tærskel, omdirigeres syntesegassen, med en lav kalorieværdi, til en brænder i en kedel (22) for at producere damp i en tredje driftsfase og eventuelt, hvor den første og anden tærskel har den samme værdi.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 2, hvilken fremgangsmåde endvidere omfatter: når syntesegassens kalorieværdi overstiger en tredje tærskel, der er højere end første og anden forhåndsbestemte tærskler, omdirigeres syntesegassen, med en meget høj kalorieværdi, to en opbevaringsbeholder (44).
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvilken fremgangsmåde endvidere omfatter midlertidig oplagring af syntesegassen med en høj kalorieværdi i en opbevaringsbeholder (38) og/eller midlertidig oplagring af syntesegassen med en lav kalorieværdi i en opbevaringsbeholder (34).
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor overvågning af kalorieværdien af den producerede syntesegas omfatter overvågning af syntesegassens gassammensætning, eventuelt hvor overvågning af syntesegassens gassammensætning omfatter overvågning af ét eller flere af syntesegassens hydrogenindhold, syntesegassens carbonmonoxidindhold og syntesegassens methanindhold.
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 3, hvor syntesegassens kalorieværdi ved den forhåndsbestemte tærskel ligger inden for intervallet fra 0,0117-0,0239 KW/0,028 m3 (40 til 100 BTU pr. kubikfod) og/eller, hvor syntesegassens kalorieværdi ved den tredje tærskel ligger inden for intervallet fra 0,0586-0,0644 KW/0,028 m3 (200 til 220 BTU pr. kubikfod).
7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 4, hvor: omdirigering af syntesegassen, med en lav kalorieværdi, til en brænder i en kedel (22) for at producere damp omfatter omdirigering af syntesegassen gennem en første strømningsbane, der fører til en termisk oxidator (18A), på opstrømssiden af en kedelvarmeveksler (52), hvor syntesegassen forbrændes, hvorved der frembringes en varm gasstrøm over varmeveksleren (52), og opretholdelse af syntesegassen ved den forhøjede temperatur i opholdstiden; og hvor omdirigering af syntesegassen, med en højere kalorieværdi, til en gasmotor (40) omfatter omdirigering af syntesegassen gennem en anden strømningsbane til en gasmotor, via en termisk behandlingsanordning (18B), hvor temperaturen på syntesegassen er forhøjet og opretholdes ved den forhøjede temperatur i opholdstiden.
8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvilken fremgangsmåde endvidere omfatter tilvejebringelse af en recirkulationssløjfe (46) med en brænder (48) deri og recirkulation af varme gasser gennem batchforarbejdningsovnen (16) og recirkulationssløjfen (46) for at opvarme batchforarbejdningsovnen (16).

Anordning til forarbejdning af materiale (E), der har et organisk indhold, hvilken anordning omfatter: mindst én batchforarbejdningsovn (16), der er konfigureret til at opvarme en batch af materialet i en reduceret oxygenatmosfære for at omdanne mindst noget af materialets organiske indhold til gas for at producere syntesegas; mindst én termisk behandlingsanordning (18), der er konfigureret til at modtage syntesegas fra batchforarbejdningsovnen (16) og har et opvarmningsmiddel, der er forbundet dermed, hvilken termisk behandlingsanordning (18) er konfigureret til at hæve temperaturen på syntesegassen deri i en opholdstid, der er tilstrækkelig til termisk at nedbryde ethvert langkædet carbonhydrid eller flygtige organiske forbindelser, der er til stede i syntesegassen; mindst ét detekteringsmiddel (26) til at detektere sammensætning af den producerede syntesegas og konfigureret til at afgive et signal, der indikerer dens kalorieværdi, mindst én gasmotor (40); en kedel (22); et ventilmiddel (30, 32) til at dirigere syntesegas til gasmotoren eller kedlen; og en styreenhed (28), der er konfigureret til at: detektere, når syntesegassens kalorieværdi er under en forhåndsbestemt tærskel og styre ventilmidlet (30, 32) til at dirigere syntesegassen, med en lav kalorieværdi, til en brænder i kedlen (22) for at producere damp; og detektere, når syntesegassens kalorieværdi overstiger den forhåndsbestemte tærskel og styre ventilmidlet (30, 32) til at dirigere syntesegassen, med en høj kalorieværdi, til gasmotoren (40) for at producere elektricitet.

Anordning ifølge krav 9, hvor den forhåndsbestemte tærskel omfatter en første forhåndsbestemt tærskel og en anden forhåndsbestemt tærskel, og hvor styreenheden (28) er konfigureret til at detektere, når syntesegassens kalorieværdi er under den første forhåndsbestemte tærskel og styre ventilmidlet (30, 32) til at dirigere syntesegassen, med en lav kalorieværdi, til brænderen i kedlen (22) for at producere damp i en første driftsmodus; detektere, når syntesegassens kalorieværdi overstiger den første forhåndsbestemte tærskel og styre ventilmidlet (30, 32) til at dirigere syntesegassen, med en høj kalorieværdi, til gasmotoren (40) for at producere elektricitet i en anden driftsmodus; og detektere, når syntesegassens kalorieværdi falder under den anden tærskel, og styre ventilmidlet (30, 32) til at dirigere syntesegassen, med en lav kalorieværdi, til brænderen i kedlen (22) for at producere damp i en tredje driftsfase.

Anordning ifølge krav 10, hvor styreenheden (28) endvidere er konfigureret til at detektere, når syntesegassens kalorieværdi overstiger en tredje tærskel, der er højere end de første og anden forhåndsbestemte tærskler, og styre ventilmidlet (30, 32) til at dirigere syntesegassen, med en meget høj kalorieværdi, til en opbevaringsbeholder (44).
12. Anordning ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 9 til 11, hvilken anordning endvidere omfatter en opbevaringsbeholder (38) for midlertidig oplagring af syntesegassen med en høj kalorieværdi og/eller en opbevaringsbeholder (34) for midlertidig oplagring af syntesegassen med en lav kalorieværdi.
13. Anordning ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 9 til 12, hvilken anordning endvidere omfatter en gasanalysator (26) til at overvåge syntesegassens gassammensætning for at opnå et signal, der indikerer dens kalorieværdi.
14. Anordning ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 9 til 13, hvor den termiske behandlingsanordning (18) indbefatter et ventilmiddel (62) på nedstrømssiden af batchbehandlingsovnen (16) for omdirigering af syntesegassen ind i én eller flere af en første strømningsbane, der fører til gasmotoren (40), og en anden strømningsbane, der fører til kedlen (22), og, hvor den termiske behandlingsanordning (18) omfatter et termisk reaktor (18B), der er placeret i den første strømningsbane på opstrømssiden af gasmotoren, og en termisk oxidator (18A), der er placeret i den anden strømningsbane på opstrømssiden af kedlen (22), og eventuelt hvor den termiske reaktor (18B) er konfigureret til at opvarme syntesegassen uden at forbrænde den, og hvor den termiske oxidator (18 A) er konfigureret til at opvarme syntesegassen for at forbrænde den.
15.
Anordning ifølge krav 14, hvilken anordning endvidere omfatter en recirkulationssløjfe (46) for recirkulation af varme gasser gennem batch forarbejdningsovnen (16), uden at den passerer gennem den termiske behandlingsanordning (18), hvilken anordning endvidere omfatter en brænder (48), der er tilvejebragt i recirkulationssløjfen (46) for at tilvejebringe en strøm af varm gas gennem batchforarbejdningsovnen (16).
