Abstract

Настоящее изобретение предлагает способ и установку переработки материала, содержащего органическое вещество. Способ включает в себя нагревание порции материала ("Е") в установке (16) периодической переработки, имеющей атмосферу с пониженным содержанием кислорода для газификации, по меньшей мере, некоторого количества органического вещества с образованием синтез-газа. Температуру синтез-газа затем повышают и синтез-газ поддерживают при повышенной температуре в устройстве (18) термической обработки в течение времени пребывания, достаточного для термического разложения любых содержащихся в нем углеводородов с длинной цепью или летучих органических соединений. Осуществляют контроль теплотворной способности образованного синтез-газа датчиками (26) и, когда теплотворная способность синтез-газа оказывается ниже заранее определенного порогового значения, синтез-газ, имеющий низкую теплотворную способность, отводят к горелке парового котла (22) для производства водяного пара для приведения в действие паровой турбины (36) для выработки электроэнергии ("Н"). Когда теплотворная способность синтез-газа превышает заранее определенное пороговое значение, синтез-газ, имеющий высокую теплотворную способность, отводят к газовому двигателю (40) для выработки электроэнергии ("F").
