Abstract
Las presentes técnicas proporcionan sistemas y métodos para recuperar energía de los gases de llamarada en las plantas y refinerías químicas. Los sistemas usan un motor para quemar una porción del gas desviado desde el sistema de llamarada. El motor puede ser un motor reciprocante o un quemador en un sistema hervidor, entre otros. La energía generada por la combustión del gas de llamarada después se usa para accionar un dispositivo de recuperación de energía. El dispositivo de recuperación de energía puede ser un generador eléctrico, un compresor o un hervidor de vapor, entre otros.
