Claims (12)

1. Ikke-terapeutisk fremgangsmåde til at øge proteinfordøjelseseffektiviteten hos et menneskeligt individ med en alder på 0 til 36 måneder, hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter indgivelse af en ernæringssammensætning, der omfatter - protein i en mængde på 5 til 20 vægtprocent baseret på tørvægt af ernæringssammensætningen og i en mængde på 1,6 til 4,0 g pr. 100 kcal, - ikke-fordøjelige oligosaccharider i en mængde på 0,5 til 20 vægtprocent baseret på tørvægt af ernæringssammensætningen, - mindst 10 vægtprocent baseret på tørvægt af ernæringssammensætningen af en proteinholdig sammensætning fermenteret med mælkesyrebakterier og - 0,10 til 1,5 vægtprocent af summen af laktat og mælkesyre baseret på tørvægt af ernæringssammensætningen, og hvor summen af L-mælkesyre og L-laktat er mere end 50 vægtprocent baseret på summen af samlet mælkesyre og laktat, til det menneskelige individ med en alder på 0 til 36 måneder, hvor øgningen sammenlignes med virkningen af en ernæringssammensætning, der ikke omfatter en proteinholdig sammensætning fermenteret med mælkesyrebakterier og ikke-fordøjelige oligosaccharider.

3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1 or 2, hvor den proteinholdige sammensætning fermenteret med mælkesyrebakterier fermenteres med Streptococcus thermophilus.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor proteinet er til stede i en mængde på 1,6 til 2,1 g protein pr. 100 kcal af ernæringssammensætningen.

10. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1 eller ernæringssammensætning ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 6-9, hvor de ikke-fordøjelige oligosaccharider er udvalgt fra gruppen bestående af transgalacto-oligosaccharider, fructo-oligosaccharider og galacturonsyre-oligosaccharider og blandinger deraf.
11. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1 eller ernæringssammensætning ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 6-10, hvor den ernæringsmæssige sammensætning omfatter 102-105 cfu levende Streptococcus thermophilus pr. gram tørvægt af ernæringssammensætningen.
