Claims (9)

1. Fremgangsmåde til forbedring af brandhæmning i filtersystemer, i hvilken en luftstrøm ladet med en brændbar aerosol tilføres til et filter, hvorved filteret tilbageholder mindst den væsentlige del af aerosolen fra luftstrømmen, kendetegnet ved at et granulært brandhæmmende middel der har porøse mineralske granulater som den væsentlige bestanddel tilføres til luftstrømmen der tilføres til filteret.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 2 kendetegnet ved at granulaterne er ekspanderet perlit-sten.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 2 eller 3 kendetegnet ved at det brandhæmmende middel pulveriseres før det tilføres til luftstrømmen eller i luftstrømmen.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af kravene 1 til 3 kendetegnet ved at aerosolen omfatter carbonhydrider, mere specielt olier eller smøremiddel.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af kravene 1 til 4 kendetegnet ved at luftstrømmen er en udstødningsluftstrøm i området af fødevareteknologi, fødevareforarbejdning, kemisk-, termisk- eller mekanisk forarbejdningsteknologi eller produktionsteknologi.
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af kravene 1 til 5 kendetegnet ved at filteret er et kagefilter, et tværgående strømningsfilter eller et dybdefilter.
7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af kravene 1 til 6 kendetegnet ved at luftstrømmen når den passerer filteret passerer mindst en del gennem et filtermedie, hvor filtermediet fortrinsvis er en sigte, en filt, en fiber-orienteret fleece, et spunbonded stofmateriale, et lag af uregelmæssigt lagte fibre, et løst fyldstofmateriale, et porøst fast legeme, i særdeleshed et sintret metal, et filtermedium omviklet af garn, en membran, et mono- eller polyfilament vævet stof.
8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af kravene 1 til 7 kendetegnet ved at det brandhæmmende middel kan befugtes af aerosolen, fortrinsvis danner aerosolen med det brandhæmmende middel en kontaktvinkel på mindre end 90 grader.
9. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af kravene 1 til 8 kendetegnet ved at luftstrømmen er fra arbejdsområdet af en formningsproces, en gendannelsesproces, en adskillelsesproces, en samlingsproces, en coatingproces eller en proces der ændrer materialeegenskaberne.
