Claims (12)

1. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af et brandhæmmende isolationselement, i hvilken forskummede polystyrenpartikler anvendes, af hvilke mindst nogen coates før fyldning i en form og sintring, hvor de forskummede polystyrenpartikler er I coatet mindst delvist med et organisk bindemiddel og mindst et brandhæmmende middel, kendetegnet ved at de forskummede polystyrenpartikler coatede med bindemidlet og det brandhæmmende middel indføres i en form og sintres før coatingen er helt tørret. i
2. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved at et brandhæmmende middel der danner et ablativt- eller opsvulmende beskyttelseslag i tilfælde af brand anvendes til at coate de forskummede polystyrenpartikler, og/eller ved at ekspanderbar grafit anvendes i som brandhæmmende middel.
3. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1 eller 2, kendetegnet ved at et vand-baseret eller vandfrit termohærdende bindemiddel, såsom epoxyresin eller polyurethan, et vand-baseret eller vandfrit i dispersionsbindemiddel, og/eller en formulering indeholdende acrylat, styrenacrylat, vinylacetat, vinylacetatethylen og/eller vinylchlorid anvendes som organisk bindemiddel til coating af polystyrenpartiklerne.
4. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, i kendetegnet ved at bindemidlet og det brandhæmmende middel påføres tidligt forskudt til de forskummede polystyrenpartikler, fortrinsvis ved hjælp af påstænkning, sprøjtning, neddypning og/eller blanding.
5. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, i kendetegnet ved at de forskummede polystyrenpartikler coatet mindst med bindemiddel coates med brandhæmmeren før coatingen er tørret fuldstændigt.
6. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved at ikke-coatede forskummede polystyrenpartikler blandes med de coatede forskummede polystyrenpartikler før indføringen i en form, hvor andelen af de ikke-coatede forskummede polystyrenpartikler er fortrinsvis 0 til 95 vol.%, mere fortrinsvis 25 til 90 vol.%, og særlig foretrukket 50 til 88 vol.%, i relation til totalvolumenet af de forskummede polystyrenpartikler.
7. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved at 30 til 95 vægtprocent polystyrenpartikler, 2,5 til 67,5 vægtprocent bindemiddel, og 2,5 til 67,5 vægtprocent brandhæmmer, fortrinsvis 40 til 90 vægtprocent polystyrenpartikler, 5 til 55 vægtprocent bindemiddel, og 5 i til 55 vægtprocent brandhæmmer, mere fortrinsvis 50 til 85 vægtprocent polystyrenpartikler, 7,5 til 35 vægtprocent bindemiddel, og 7,5 til 35 vægtprocent det brandhæmmende middel anvendes, i relation til den totale tørvægt af udgangsmaterialerne.
8. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved at vægtforholdet af de forskummede polystyrenpartikler til brandhæmmeren er 0,4 til 38, fortrinsvis 0,75 til 34, mere fortrinsvis 1,05 til 20, i relation til deres respektive tørvægte.
9. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved at fibre, fyldstoffer og/eller additiver tilsættes til de forskummede coatede og/eller ikke-coatede polystyrenpartikler før indføringen i formen.
10. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved at udgangsmaterialerne sintres i formen under tilførsel af tryk og/eller varme.
11. Isolationselement der er blevet fremstillet i overensstemmelse med én af de i foregående fremgangsmåder og er uigennemtrængelige for vand og er åben for dampdiffusion.
12. Anvendelse af et isolationselement der er blevet fremstillet i overensstemmelse med et hvilket som helst af de foregående fremgangsmåder til lydisolering og/eller varmeisolering af en bygningsvæg eller -loft.
