Claims (12)
1. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af et brandhæmmende isoleringselement, i hvilket opskummelige og/eller præ-opskummede polystyrenpartikler anvendes, af hvilke mindst en del er coatet før de fyldes i en form og sintres, kendetegnet ved at de opskummelige og/eller præ-opskummede polystyrenpartikler coates mindst delvis med et organisk bindemiddel og et brandhæmmende middel, hvor bindemidlet og det brandhæmmende middel anvendes i pulverform, og hvor de opskummelige og/eller præ-opskummede polystyrenpartikler coatet med binde- og det brandhæmmende middel indføres i en form og sintres under tilførsel af varme, sådan at bindemidlet blødgøres og forårsager en yderligere binding af faststofferne.
2. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved at et brandhæmmende middel der danner et ablativ eller opsvulmende beskyttelseslag i tilfældet af brand anvendes til at coate de præ-opskummede polystyrenpartikler, og/eller ved at ekspanderbar grafit anvendes som brandhæmmende middel.
3. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1 eller 2, kendetegnet ved at et dispersionspulver, fx et dispersionspulver baseret på acrylat, styrenacrylat, vinylacetat, vinylacetatethylen og/eller vinylchlorid, anvendes som organisk bindemiddel til coating af styrenpartiklerne.
4. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved at de opskummelige polystyrenpartikler blandes med bindemidlet og det brandhæmmende middel i pulverform og derefter præ-opskummes.
5. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved at de præ-opskummede polystyrenpartikler blandes med bindemidlet og/eller det brandhæmmende middel i pulverform.
6. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved at de opskummelige og/eller præ-opskummede polystyrenpartikler der coates med bindemidlet og det brandhæmmende middel indføres i en form og sintres med tilsætning aftryk og varme.
7. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved at de opskummelige og/eller præ-opskummede polystyrenpartikler der coates med bindemidletdet og brandhæmmende middel blandes med polystyrenpartikler før indføringen i en form, mens andelen af de ikke-coatede polystyrenpartikler fortrinsvis er 0 til 99 volumenprocent, mere fortrinsvis 25 til 90 volumenprocent, og især fortrinsvis 50 til 88 volumenprocent, i forhold til totalvolumenet af de anvendte polystyrenpartikler.
8. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved at 30 til 95 vægtprocent af opskummelige og/eller præ-opskummede polystyrenpartikler, 0,5 til 67,5 vægtprocent af bindemidlet og 2,5 til 67,5 vægtprocent af det brandhæmmende middel, fortrinsvis 40 til 90 vægtprocent polystyrenpartikler, 2,5 til 55 vægtprocent af bindemidlet og 5 til 55 vægtprocent brandhæmmende middel, mere fortrinsvis 50 til 85 vægtprocent polystyrenpartikler, 5 til 35 vægtprocent bindemiddel og 7,5 til 35 vægtprocent brandhæmmende middel, anvendes i forhold til totalvægten af udgangsmaterialerne.
9. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved at vægtforholdet af de opskummelige og/eller præ-opskummede polystyrenpartikler til det brandhæmmende middel er 0,4 til 38, fortrinsvis 0,75 til 34, mere fortrinsvis 1,05 til 20.
10. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved at fibre, fyldstoffer og/eller additiver tilsættes til de coatede og/eller ikke-coatede polystyrenpartikler før indføringen i formen.
11. Isoleringselement der er fremstillet i overensstemmelse med en af de foregående fremgangsmåder og er uigennemtrængelig for vand og er åben til dampdiffusion.
12. Anvendelse af et isoleringselement fremstillet i overensstemmelse med en af de foregående fremgangsmåder til lydisolering og/eller varmeisolering af en bygningsvæg eller -loft.
