Claims (18)

1. Smøreoliesammensætning til en skibstrunkstempelmotor til forbedring af håndtering af asfaltener under anvendelse deraf, i driften af motoren forsynet med svær brændselsolie, hvor sammensætningen har en TBN på 20 til 60 som målt med ASTM D 2896 og fremstilles ved blanding af en olie med smøreolieviskositet i en større mængde, som omfatter 50 masse% eller mere basismateriale, som indeholder mere end eller lig med 90% mættede materialer og mindre end eller lig med 0,03% svovl eller en blanding deraf, og i respektive mindre mængder: (A) en overbasisk metalhydrocarbyl-substitueret hydroxybenzoatdetergent, som har (A1) et basiskhedsindeks på to eller mere og en carboneringsgrad på 80% eller mere; eller (A2) et basiskhedsindeks på to eller mere og en carboneringsgrad på mindre end 80%; hvor carboneringsgraden er procentdelen af carbonat, der er til stede i den overbasiske metalhydrocarbyl-substituerede hydroxybenzoatdetergent udtrykt som en molprocent i forhold til den samlede overskudsbase i detergen-ten; og (B) 5 til 500 masse% aktiv bestanddel, baseret på massen af aktiv bestanddel (A) af en olieopløselig alkyl-substitueret phenol, som er forskellig fra en forhindret phenol, eller en alkylnaphthol; hvor behandlingsforholdet mellem tilsætningsstofferne (A) og (B) i smøreoliesammensætningen ligger i området fra 1 til 25 masse%.
2. Sammensætning ifølge krav 1, hvor sammensætningen indeholder 15 til 90 masse% aktiv bestanddel, baseret på massen af aktiv bestanddel (A) af en olieopløselig alkyl-substitueret phenol, som er forskellig fra en forhindret phenol, eller en alkylnaphthol.
3. Sammensætning ifølge krav 1 eller 2, hvor alkyl-substituenten i (B) er en enkelt alkyl-gruppe med 9 til 30 carbonatomer.
4. Sammensætning ifølge krav 3, hvor alkyl-substituenten i (B) er en enkelt ligekædet alkyl-gruppe med 9 til 30 carbonatomer.
5. Sammensætning ifølge et af de forgående krav, hvor (B) er en alkylben-zenol.
6. Sammensætning ifølge krav 5, hvor alkyl-substitutionen i benzenolen er i 2-positionen eller i 4-positionen.
7. Sammensætning ifølge krav 1, hvor alkyl-substitutionen i naphtolen er i 1 -positionen eller i 2-positionen.
8. Sammensætning ifølge et af kravene 1, 2, 3 eller 4, hvor (B) er en al-kylphenol med methylen-bro.
9. Sammensætning ifølge et af kravene 1 til 8, hvor (B) er tilvejebragt i (A) under overbasiskhedstrinnet i fremstillingen af (A).
10. Sammensætning ifølge et af kravene 1 til 8, hvor (B) blandes separat med (A).
11. Sammensætning ifølge et af kravene 1 til 10, hvor metallet i (A) er calcium.
12. Sammensætning ifølge et af kravene 1 til 11, hvor det hydrocarbyl-substituerede hydroxybenzoat i (A) er et salicylat.
13. Sammensætning ifølge krav 12, hvor salicylatet er et C9- til C3o-alkyl-substitueret salicylat.
14. Sammensætning ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 13, hvor olien med smøreviskositet indeholder mere end 60 masse% af et basismateriale, som indeholder mere end eller er lig med 90% mættede dele og mindre end eller lig med 0,03 % svovl eller en blanding deraf.
15. Sammensætning ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 14, som har en TBN fra 25 til 55.
16. Anvendelse af et detergent (A) som defineret i krav 1 i kombination med en komponent (B) som defineret i, og i mængden angivet i krav 1, i en smøreoliesammensætning til et skibstrunkstempel til en kompressionstændt trunkstempelskibsmotor med middelomdrejningstal, hvor sammensætningen har en TBN på 20 til 60 og omfatter en olie med smøreolieviskositet i en større mængde og omfatter 50 masse% eller mere basismateriale, som indeholder mere end eller lig med 90% mættede materialer og mindre end eller lig med 0,03% svovl eller en blanding deraf, til forbedring af håndtering af asfalten under i driften af motoren forsynet med svær brændselsolie, of smøringen deraf med sammensætningen, i sammenligning med lignende drift, når den samme mængde detergent (A) anvendes i fravær af (B).
17. Fremgangsmåde til drift af en kompressionstændt trunkstempelskibsmotor med middelomdrejningstal, hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter (i) optankning af motoren med en tung brændselsolie; og (ii) smøring af motorens krumtaphus med en sammensætning som defineret i et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 15.
18. Fremgangsmåde til dispergering af asfaltener i en smøreoliesammensætning til et skibstrunkstempel under dens smøring af fladerne af forbrændingskammeret af en kompressionstændt skibsmotor med middelomdrejningstal og drift af motoren, hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter (i) det at tilvejebringe en sammensætning som defineret i et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 15; (ii) det at forsyne forbrændingskammeret med sammensætningen; (iii) det at forsyne forbrændingskammeret med tung brændselsolie; og (iv) det at forbrænde den tunge brændselsolie i forbrændingskammeret.
