Claims (15)

1. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af natamycin fra en fermenteringssuppe, der indeholder biomasse og natamycin, hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter trinene: (a) sønderdeling af biomassen; (b) separering af natamycin fra den således behandlede fermenteringssuppe til opnåelse af en natamycinsuspension; (c) justering af pH i natamycinsuspensionen til en værdi, der er over 10, og tilsætning af en mængde af et i det væsentlige vandblandbart opløsningsmiddel, der er tilstrækkelig til opløsning af natamycin i natamycinsuspensionen; (d) fjernelse af uopløselig faststoffer fra natamycinopløsningen, der er opnået i trin (c); (e) sænkning af pH i natamycinopløsningen, der er opnået i trin (d), til et pH på 5 til 8 til fældning af natamycin; (f) fjernelse af natamycin fra natamycinsuspensionen; (g) eventuelt tørring af den fjernede natamycin; og (h) eventuelt reducering af størrelsen af den tørrede natamycin.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, der er kendetegnet ved, at sønderdelingen af biomassen i trin (a) omfatter én eller en kombination af følgende teknikker og/eller behandlinger: homogenisering, høj forskydningsblanding, ultrasonikering, opvarmning, alkalisk behandling, enzymatisk behandling eller en behandling med et overfladeaktivt middel.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1 eller 2, der er kendetegnet ved, at separeringen af natamycin i trin (b) omfatter en tyngdegradientsepareringsteknik.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 3, der er kendetegnet ved, at det vandblandbare opløsningsmiddel, der anvendes i trin (c) , er udvalgt fra gruppen, der består af acetone, methanol, ethanol, propanol, propandiol, isopropanol, tetrahydrofuran og kombinationer deraf.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 4, der er kendetegnet ved, at fjernelsen af uopløselige faststoffer i trin (d) udføres ved hjælp af membranfiltrering, dybdefiltrering eller centrifugering.
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 5, der er kendetegnet ved, at trin (f) udføres ved hjælp af membranfiltrering.
7. Natamycin, der kan opnås ved hjælp af fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 6, hvilket natamycin har en frigivelseshastighed på 0,1-1,0 yg pr. 24 timer over de første 24 timer, når det kommer i kontakt på et bæremateriale med en agaroverflade på 0,6 cm i diameter ved 6 °C og en bærematerialelastning på 10 yg natamycin, hvilket natamycin har en frigivelseshastighed, der falder med 1 til 45 procent efter mindst 9 dage, når det kommer i kontakt på et bæremateriale med en agaroverflade på 0,6 cm i diameter og en bærematerialelastning på 5 til 40 yg natamycin, og natamycin har en frigivelseshastighed i intervallet mellem 0,1 og 2,0 yg pr. 24 timer over de første 24 timer, når det kommer i kontakt på et bæremateriale med en agaroverflade på 0,6 cm i diameter ved 6 °C og en bærematerialelastning på 40 yg natamycin.
8. Antifungal sammensætning, der omfatter natamycin ifølge krav 7.
9. Antifungal sammensætning ifølge krav 8, der er kendetegnet ved, at sammensætningen yderligere omfatter et vandblandbart opløsningsmiddel.
10. Antifungal sammensætning ifølge krav 7 eller 8, der er kendetegnet ved, at sammensætningen endvidere omfatter mindst et andet antimikrobielt middel, der er udvalgt fra gruppen, der består af et svag syre-konserveringsmiddel, svovldioxid, sulfit, nitrat, nitrit, dimethyldicarbonat, biphenyl, diphenyl, orthophenylphenol, thiobendazol, en uorganisk syre, en imidazol og en bacteriocin.
11. Antifungal sammensætning ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 8 til 10, der er kendetegnet ved, at svag syrekonserveringsmidlet er udvalgt fra gruppen, der består af sorbinsyre, propionsyre, benzoesyre, en p-hydroxybenzoesyre, mælkesyre, citronsyre, eddikesyre og et alkalimetal- eller jordalkalimetalsalt deraf.
12. Produkt behandlet med en antifungal sammensætning ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 8 til 11.
13. Produkt ifølge krav 12, der er kendetegnet ved, at det er udvalgt fra gruppen, der består af ost, revet ost, yoghurt, smør, forarbejdede kødprodukter, sovse, korn, grøntsager, frugt, frugtprodukter, færdigretter, drikkevarer, bønner, nødder, urter, blomster, planter, frø, blomsterløg, læggekartofter, lotions, cremer, salver, shampoer og sæber.
14. Fødevareovertræk med inkorporeret natamycin ifølge krav 7 .
15. Fremgangsmåde til konservering af et produkt, der er modtageligt for fungal nedbrydning, ved behandling af produktet med en antifungal sammensætning ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 8 til 11.
