Claims (9)

  1. PATENTKRAV’
    1. Optisk fiber, som omfatter i det mindste: en central kernedel (11) med et maksimalt brydningsindeks Nh og en udvendig diameter (2a); en nedtrykt del (12), tilvejebragt på en udvendig periferi af den centrale kernedel (11), som har et minimalt brydningsindeks N2 og en udvendig diameter (2b); og en kappedel (13), tilvejebragt på en udvendig periferi af den nedtrykte del (12), som har et maksimalt brydningsindeks N3, kendetegnet ved, at de respektive maksimale brydningsindeks for en central kernedel (11), den nedtrykte del (12) og kappedelen (13) opfylder følgende relation; N-|^N3^N2, hvor en relativ brydningsindeksdifferens Δ1 af den centrale kernedel (11) i forhold til kappedelen (13) er større end 1%, og en relativ brydningsindeksdifferens Δ2 af den nedtrykte del (12) i forhold til kappedelen (13) er mindre end -0,3%, og at ved en bølgelængde på 1,05 pm er den anden afledte β2 for udbredelseskonstanten β med hensyn til frekvens ω positiv, den tredje afledte β3 for udbredelseskonstanten β med hensyn til frekvens ω er negativ, og forholdet (β3/β2) imellem den tredje afledte β3 og den anden afledte β2 er -0,002 ps eller mindre.
  2. 2. Optisk fiber ifølge krav 1, hvor et forhold Ra(=2a/2b) imellem den udvendige diameter (2a) af den centrale kernedel (11) og den udvendige diameter (2b) af den nedtrykte del (12) er 0,2 eller mere, men mindre end 0,6.
  3. 3. Optisk fiber ifølge krav 1, hvor den relative brydningsindeksdifferens Δ-ι for den centrale kernedel (11) er 1,7% eller mere.
  4. 4. Optisk fiber ifølge krav 1, hvor den relative brydningsindeksdifferens Δ2 for den nedtrykte del (12) er -0,5% eller mindre.
  5. 5. Optisk fiber ifølge krav 1, hvor den udvendige diameter (2a) af den centrale kernedel (12) er 1,4 pm eller mere men 4 pm eller mindre.
  6. 6. Optisk fiber ifølge krav 1, som har et bøjningstab på 100 dB/m eller mindre ved bølgelængden på 1,05 pm, når den vikles i en diameter på 40 mm.
  7. 7. Optisk fiber ifølge krav 1, som yderligere omfatter en ringdel (44) tilvejebragt imellem den nedtrykte del og kappedelen (13), og som har et maksimalt brydningsindeks N4 og en udvendig diameter (2c), hvor de respektive maksimale brydningsindeks for den centrale kernedel (11), den nedtrykte del (12), ringdelen (44) og kappedelen (13) opfylder følgende relation: Ni>N4>N3>N2·
  8. 8. Optisk fiberspole omfattende en optisk fiber i overensstemmelse med ethvert af kravene 1 til 7, hvor denne er viklet i en spoleform.
  9. 9. Optisk fiberspole ifølge krav 8, hvor den minimale viklede diameter af den optiske fiber er 120 mm eller mindre.
