Claims (20)
1. Anvendelse af en virksom mængde af levende, ikke-patogen F4+Escherichia co//-stamme til at fremme vækst i et dyr eller til at homogenisere vækst hos en flok dyr, og hvor den levende, ikke-patogene F4+Escherichia co//-stamme anvendes oralt.
2. Anvendelse ifølge krav 1 til at fremme vækst i et dyr.
3. Anvendelse ifølge krav 1 til at homogenisere vækst hos en flok dyr.
4. Anvendelse ifølge krav 1, 2 eller 3, hvor den virksomme mængde af ikke-patogene F4+Escherichia co//-stamme er forbundet med en til fødemiddel acceptabel bærer.
5. Anvendelse ifølge krav 4, hvor dyret fodres med den ikke-patogene F4+Escherichia co//-stamme i forbindelse med en til et fast eller flydende fødemiddel acceptabel bærer.
6. Anvendelse ifølge krav 5, hvor den til fast føde acceptable bærer er et almindeligt fast fødemiddel.
7. Anvendelse ifølge krav 5, hvor den til væske acceptable bærer er vand.
8. Anvendelse ifølge krav 5, hvor den til væske acceptable bærer er mælk.
9. Anvendelse ifølge et af kravene 1 til 8, hvor den virksomme mængde er mindst ca. 5E7 CFU af ikke-patogen F4+Escherichia coii-stamme per dyr.
10. Anvendelse ifølge krav 9, hvor den virksomme mængde ligger i området fra ca. 5E7 til ca. 5E9 CFU af ikke-patogene F4+Escherichia co//-stamme per dyr.
11. Anvendelse ifølge et af kravene 1 til 10, hvor den ikke-patogene F4+Escherichia co//-stamme består af Escherichia co/Fstammen, som er deponeret hos International Depository Authority of Canada (IDAC) den 21. ja nuar 2005 under ansøgningsnummer IDAC 210105-01, sine mutanter eller varianter deraf.
12. Anvendelse ifølge et af kravene 1 til 11, hvor dyret eller dyrene er udvalgt fra gruppen bestående af et dyr efter afvænning og et dyr efter udklækning.
13. Anvendelse ifølge krav 12, hvor dyret efter afvænning er mellem ca. 10 og ca. 28 dage gammel.
14. Anvendelse ifølge krav 12, hvor dyret efter udklækning er mellem ca. 1 og ca. 7 dage gammel.
15. Anvendelse ifølge krav 12 eller 13, hvor dyret efter afvænning er et svin.
16. Anvendelse ifølge krav 12 eller 13, hvor dyret efter afvænning er en mus.
17. Anvendelse ifølge krav 12 eller 14, hvor dyret efter udklækning er fjerkræ.
18. Anvendelse ifølge krav 17, hvor fjerkræ er en kylling.
19. Ikke-patogen F4+Escherichia co//-stamme, som er deponeret hos International Depository Authority of Canada (IDAC) den 21. januar 2005 under ansøgningsnummer IDAC 210105-01.
