(54) Sikkerhedslaminatrude til køretøjer.
Opfindelsen angår en sikkerhedslaminatrude, specielt frontrude til køretøjer, med stor styrke over for stødpåvirkninger, hvilken rude består af en eller flere glasplader, hvor en yderflade, som vender bort fra andre lag er dækket med et lag af svagt tværbundet, transparent polyurethan.
Det er kendt, at man stræber efter bilruder, der er i stand til at tåle relativt kraftige stødpåvirkninger fra hovedet uden at blive gennembrudt, men derimod således, at de ved en plastisk deformation er i stand til at optage en så stor stødenergi som muligt over en stor afstand. Hidtil er disse krav kun opfyldt ved hjælp af laminatruder. Imidlertid, og selv om ruden ikke er gennembrudt, er der stadigvæk risiko for beskadigelser af kroppen langs kanten af glassplinterne. Af denne grund har man tidligere foreslået at dække indersiden af ruden med et beskyttelseslag af plastmateriale, hvorved man undgår, at huden kommer i 2 143018 kontakt med disse kanter.
Der kendes en rude, hvor plastlaget består af en folie af amorft polyamid i en tykkelse på 0,3 mm. I en anden rudekonstruktion er en plade af hærdet glas forbundet med en folie af plastmateriale, såsom polycarbonat, polyacrylat, celluloseacetat, polyester, vinylpolychlorid eller andet lignende materiale, hvilken folie danner rudens inderflade.
De kendte løsninger giver ganske vist en god beskyttelse mod flængning, men de plastmaterialer, der foreslås anvendt til dannelse af beklædningen, har alle uden undtagelse den ulempe, at de ikke har en så stor evne til at modstå ridsning, at de uden videre kan bruges. Disse beklædninger må derfor igen beskyttes ved et overtræk af modstandsdygtigt materiale.
En anden ulempe ved disse løsninger ligger i, at de foreslåede plastmaterialer under de sædvanligvis anvendte tykkelser kun har ringe deformerbarhed, hvilket nedsætter de ønskede egenskaber for ruden. Derfor foreslås der i ovennævnte anden rudetype at undgå at indeklemme kanten af plastmaterialelaget i rudens ramme eller i det mindste delvis at holde plastmaterialelaget frit på en sådan måde, at ruden adskiller sig fra rammen i tilfældet af stødpåvirkning.
Opfindelsen tager sigte på en laminatrude, der sikrer en solid fastgørelse ved kanterne og sikkerhedsmæssigt har gode egenskaber, og hvis plastmaterialelaget giver en god beskyttelse mod flængning, samt en god modstandsdygtighed overfor ridsning, således at det ikke længere er nødvendigt at beskytte dette lag med et yderligere lag. Med henblik herpå er ruden ifølge opfindelsen ejendommelig ved, at nævnte polyurethanlag har høj elastisk deformationsevne med forlængelse før brud pa over 60% ved et permanent plastisk deformationsforhold på under 2% og en elasticitetsmodul pa under 20 000 N/cm . Der er opnået særlig gode resultater ved anvendelse af plastmaterialer med en elasticitetsmodul mindre end 12.000 2 N/cm og med en strækforlængelse før overrivning større end 7o% ved en plastisk deformation mindre end 1%.
Det har overraskende vist sig, at et plastmaterialelag med de ovenfor angivne egenskaber ganske udmærket opfylder på én gang to hovedfunktioner: dels at plastlagets store deformationsevne bevirker, at det ikke rives over og fortsat danner en beskyttende skærm, selv om der forekommer store lokale udbøjningskræf-ter efter brud af glaspladen, dels at disse plastmaterialer har den evne, at overfladefejl, såsom ridsninger eller lokale indpresninger i overfladen hurtigt forsvinder totalt, således at plastlagets planhed hurtigt genoprettes. I modsætning til, hvad man kunne forvente, gør den store evne til elastisk deformation ikke disse plastlag sårbare ved overfladen, og giver derimod plastlagene en stor modstandsdygtighed som følge af, at eventuelle beskadigelser hurtigt forsvinder.

Blandt de kendte materialer, der har disse evner og er velegnet til udøvelse af opfindelsen kan man nævne alifatiske polyuretaner, der kun i ringe grad er tværbundet. Fordelen ved dette materiale er, at det i sig selv har en tilstrækkelig vedhængningsevne til, at det direkte kan anbringes på glasoverfladen uden brug af mellemliggende klæbelag.
Ruden kan bestå af en enkelt glasplade, eventuelt en plade af hærdet glas, såfremt det beskyttende plastmaterialelag udviser alle de ovenfor nævnte egenskaber og dog er tilvejebragt ved kombination af deformerbare plastelementer på en sådan måde, at det er plastlaget, der har den ønskede modstandsdygtighed overfor gennembrydning og evne til at absorbere stødenergien, når kanterne fastholdes i rammen. Sædvanligvis kræves der i denne udførelsesform et plastlag, der har en tykkelse større end 1 mm.
Det princip, der ligger til grund for opfindelsen, kan også fordelagtigt og på særlig enkel måde finde anvendelse ved en sikkerhedslaminatrude af sædvanlig type, der er modstandsdygtig overfor gennembrydning. Deformationen i mellemlaget af polyvinylbutyral gør det muligt at absorbere stødenergien uden at ruden gennembrydes og beklædningslaget har alene til formål at give en tilstrækkelig beskyttelse mod flængning. I så fald kan man nøjes med en ringe tykkelse mellem 0,1 og 1 mm, fortrinsvis mellem 0,2 og 0,5 mm. Den særlig fordel ved denne udførelsesform ligger i, at ruden er nem at fremstille, idet der kræves ikke andet end anbringelsen af et yderligere lag på en laminatrude af i og for sig kendt art.
Opfindelsen forklares nærmere i det følgende under henvisning til den skematiske tegning. Tegningen viser en rude, der omfatter plader 1 og 3 af silikatglas i sædvanlig tykkelse. Pladen 1 er rudens yderplade, der f.eks. har en tykkelse mellem 3 og 4 mm, medens pladen 3 på indersiden har en tykkelse på f.eks. 2-3 mm. Disse plader er klæbet til hinanden ved hjælp af et mellemlag 2 af plastmateriale, såsom polyvinylbutyral i en tykkelse på mindst 0,76 mm.
På den side, der vender mod det indre af køretøjet, er der anbragt et lag 4 af deformerbart plastmateriale i en tykkelse mellem 0,2 og 0,5 mm.
