Abstract

The frame is placed, for example, on the inspection opening (14) of the flush tank (15). In order that a region (17) which projects at the top after the in-filling masonry work can be removed in a simple manner, the frame (6) has a plurality of peripheral grooves (18) which form weakening points. During the in-filling masonry work, the frame (6) forms a protective means which prevents building rubble getting into the flush tank. In the ready-mounted state, it forms a lining for the wall cavity (16).
