Über den Stapeln 1 und 2 ist eine Zwischendecke 8 angeordnet, bei welcher lediglich an den Seiten ein Luftspalt 9 und 10 frei gelassen und die Saugöffnung 11 der Turbine 4 ausgespart ist. Oberhalb der Zwischendecke 8 befinden sich beispielsweise die Heizstäbe oder Rippenrohre 12. Bei Einschalten des bezw. der Motoren 6 wird die Luft aus dem Luftschacht 3 von der Turbine 4 angesaugt und entlang der Zwischendecke 8 durch die Heizelemente 12 hindurchgeblasen. Durch die Luftspalte 9 und 10 strömt sie senkrecht nach unten, streicht dann durch die Stapel 1 und 2 hindurch, zurück zum Luftschacht 3.
