lianalstufentrockner.
lianal stage dryer. The present invention relates to a duct stage dryer in which there is only one conveyor device consisting of a single conveyor belt for the goods to be dried, which conveyed goods are provided by fans arranged below or above the belt, the axes of rotation of which are parallel to the direction of movement of the belt , is treated and the fans generate a circulating air flow in such a way that the air volume of these fans is moved in a circle from the pressure side to the suction side,
where it is first driven in one direction across the conveyed item and then sucked through the conveyed item in the opposite direction, so that the air flow of this fan is moved twice through the conveyed item and across it.
An embodiment of such a duct stage dryer is shown in the accompanying drawing in Fig. 1 in longitudinal section, in Fig. 2 in top view with partial section and in Fig. 3 in a cross section. Through a feed device a, the material to be dried is brought onto the endless conveyor belt b and migrates on this to the other end of the drying channel c, in which a cooling field can be connected at d.
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the fans e are arranged below the conveying path, the axes of rotation of which are parallel to the direction of movement of the conveyor belt, and which flush the conveyed material that travels through the tunnel dryer on the conveyor belt with several circulating air flows, possibly with heated circulating air. Here, the device is chosen so that, as the arrows 1, 2 indicate, the direction of each circulating air flow leads twice through the dry material, one time from above, the other time from below.
Here, the fans can be arranged in such a way that the air flows in each case of two successive fans are directed in opposite directions, as shown in FIG. 1.
The heating of the channel stage dryer can be advertised by appropriate heating elements f, which in the exemplary embodiment are above the conveyor belt. Conversely, the fans can also be arranged above the conveyed material and the heating elements below the same.
An exhaust fan (not shown) at the end of the duct stage dryer can act on the cooling field d.
h is the sequence.
The following advantages are achieved by this channel step dryer: Because each fan moves its air flow through the dry material twice, i.e. sucking once, pressing the other valley, it is possible to get by with half the number of fans with the strongest air movement. All parts are also flushed evenly with the air.
The arrangement of the fans also allows the fans to be arranged on a continuous shaft, so that the drive of the fan groups is easier.
