Man war daher gezwungen, in Kauf zu nehmen, daß die Massekerne nicht immer eine genügende Wärmebeständigkeit aufweisen. Die üblichen im Spritzgußverfahren hergestellten Massekerne hatten nur eine Wärmebeständigkeit höchstens bis zu 75° C nach Vicat. Es kommen nun Fälle vor, in denen Massekerne mit größerer Wärmebeständigkeit mindestens bis ioo° C nach Vicat verwendet werden sollen.
