Description

(WiGBl. S. 175)(WiGBl. P. 175)

AUSGEGEBEN AM 31. DEZEMBER 1958ISSUED DECEMBER 31, 1958

A large number of aliphatic and aromatic mercury compounds are already known. Already in 1930, aliphatic ^ and aromatic hydrocarbons were mercurated for the purpose the seed dressing brought up in proposal. In the German patent specification 515 075 it is particularly pointed out that that mercurized aromatic hydrocarbons have a much better fungicidal effect than mercured ones aliphatic hydrocarbons.

Phenylmercury salts as pickling, spraying and dusting agents for destroying harmful microorganisms on plants are mentioned in Swiss patent 253 422. The solubilization is achieved by the phenylmercuric p H -shift in the acidic or alkaline region. A solubilization of the phenyl mercury salts with a neutrally reacting solubilizer has not yet become known.

It has now been found that cell pitch can be used as a solubilizer for mercurized aromatic hydrocarbons, preferably phenyl mercury acetate.

The advantages of this method are particularly evident in practical application.

Spritzt man z. If you spray z. B. on the first green leaves of young apple trees the same amount of a solution Phenylmercury Acetates - firstly with soda or bicarbonate, secondly with sulfite pitch - it turns out that ζ. B. the phenyl mercury salts made soluble with sulfite pitch sprayed twice as concentrated like the mercury salts made soluble with soda without burning the leaves.

For example burned already an o, 2 ° / 0 solution of a dissolved in soda Phenylquecksilbersalzes the leaves of young apple trees, whereas this was not the case with an o, 4 ° / 0 solution of a Phenylquecksilbersalzes solubilized with Sulfitpech. This results in the particular advantage of the above-mentioned method in practice.

Beispielexample

Ein Spritzmittel folgender Zusammensetzung: 5% Phenylquecksilberacetat, 30% Zellpech, 0,5% Oleylmethyltaurid, 64,5% Natriumsulfat wird 0,20Z0Ig gegen Apfelschorf gespritzt.A spray with the following composition: 5% phenyl mercury acetate, 30% cell pitch, 0.5% oleyl methyl tauride, 64.5% sodium sulfate is injected 0.2 0 Z 0 Ig against apple scab.
