Description
Vorkammerdieselmaschine Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorkammerdieselmaschine mit einem die Vorkammer gegen den Hauptbrennraum abschließenden, in diesen hineinragenden und im wesentlichen halbkugelförmigen Einsatzboden mit am Umfange desselben angeordneten Durchtrittsöffnungen zum Hauptbrennraum, wobei der Kolben mit einer den Hauptbrennraum bildenden flachen Mulde mit einer zusätzlichen örtlichen Vertiefung versehen ist, in welche im oberen Kolbentotpunkt der halbkugelförmige Boden des den Hauptbrennraum durchsetzenden und allseitig von diesem umgebenen Vorkammereinsatzes derart eintritt, daß er von der Kolbenbodenwandung mit geringem Spielraum umschlossen wird, nach Patent 863 428. Dadurch, daß der Hauptbrennraum entsprechend dem Hauptpatent durch eine flache Mulde gebildet wird, auf die sich im oberen Kolbentotpunkt der aus den seitlichen Öffnungen des Einsatzes heraustretende Vorkammerinhalt verteilen kann, läßt sich ein sehr gleichmäßiges Gemisch im Hauptbrennraum erreichen. Durch die Anordnung einer örtlichen Vertiefung innerhalb der Kolbenmulde, in welche der Boden des Vorkammereinsatzes im oberen Kolbentotpunkt eintritt, wird der Einsatzboden gegenüber den heißen Verbrennungsgasen im Hauptbrennraum soweit abgeschirmt, daß er im oberen Totpunkt nicht- unmittelbar von den im Hauptbrennraum sich ausbreitenden Flammen getroffen wird. Die thermische Beanspruchung des Einsatzbodens kann dadurch wesentlich herabgesetzt werden.
