Lampenbrenner mit Feder zur Regulirung der Flammenstärke.
Patentirt im Deutschen Reiche vom 9. August 1877 ab.
Die Erfindung ist eine »Sparlampe mit Federbrenner«, welcher dazu dient, dafs während eines Drucks auf eine Feder die Flamme sich vergröfsert. Die Lampe brennt neunmal zwölf Stunden hintereinander und verbraucht während dieser Zeit für 0,05 Mark Brennstoff (Ligro'in). Sie eignet sich deshalb vorzüglich als Nachtlampe und gewährt dabei den Vortheil, durch einen leichten Druck auf die Feder schnell eine hellleuchtende Flamme zu geben; ferner dazu, um öfteres Streichholzanzünden zu vermeiden.
Fig. ι stellt das Aeufsere der Lampe, die ganz von Blech, dauerhaft gearbeitet ist, dar und zwar ist α der Brenner, b ein Knopf zum Drücken, um die Flamme zu vergröfsern; Fig. 2 stellt das Innere der Lampe vor und ist a die äufsere, b die innere feststehende Brennerhülse, über welche sich die Hülse α auf- und abschiebt, c ein Doppelring um die Hülse a, in den die Feder d eingreift; durch einen Druck auf den Knopf E wird die Hülse α heruntergezogen und dem Docht, der durch die Hülse h gezogen ist, oben mehr Freiheit gegeben, wodurch die Vergröfserung der Flamme entsteht. Nach dem Druck hebt die Feder d die Hülse α wieder und die Flamme brennt klein.
/ ist der Deckel der Lampe, durch den die Hülse b geht und auf dem die Feder d befestigt ist. g das Eüllrohr, welches am Boden der Fig. 1 seinen Eingufs hat und in das Innere des mit Schwamm angefüllten Bassins führt; von diesem Bassin (der untere innere Theil der Fig. 1) zieht ein Docht den nöthigen Brennstoff in die Höhe.
