Description
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein heizender Transformator. Die Aufgabe der Erfindung besteht darin, Wechselstromenergie, wie man sie dem Netz entnimmt, mit Hilfe einer besonderen Einrichtung möglichst vollständig in Wärme umzuwandeln. Diese Umwandlung wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch erreicht, daß zwei etwa gleich ausgebildete Teile aus massivem Eisen als Kernaufbau dienen, die Ausnehmungen für einen ringförmigen, vom massiven ίο Eisen umschlossenen Spulenraum von quadratischem Querschnitt besitzen. Der neue heizende Transformator besitzt also eine hitzebeständige Erregerwicklung, welche im Innern einer besonders ausgesuchten, gut heizenden ferromagnetischen Masse sich befindet. Die in dieser besonders ermittelten ferromagnetischen Masse induzierten Wirbelströme und die Hysteresis 'sowie die Erregerspulenwärme selbst ermöglichen eine vollständige Umsetzung der Wechselstromenergie in Wärme innerhalb des Eisenkörpers.The invention relates to a heating transformer. Der Gegenstand des die Erfindung bildenden heizenden Transformators wird beispielsweise in einer Ausführung als Koch- oder Heizplatte für Vulkanisierzwecke od. dgl. beschrieben und ist in der Zeichnung schematisch dargestellt. Abb. I zeigt den Querschnitt, Abb. II den Grundriß des Gerätes. Wie aus dem Querschnitt der Abb. I ersichtlich, besteht der neue Transformator aus zwei etwa gleich ausgebildeten Teilen A, B, welche massiv aus einem ferromagnietischen und elektrisch gut leitenden Material bestehen, von denen jeder Teil Ai und B einen ringförmigen Spulenraum / von quadratischem Querschnitt aufweist. In diesem Spulenraum ist die besonders ausgebildete wärmebeständige Erregerspule P untergebracht. Durch das durch die Teile A, B gebildete Gehäuse wird die Erregerspule vollständig durch die vorhandene ferromagnetische Masse eingeschlossen. An einem Gehäuseende ist eine Bohrung/7 angebracht für die Drahtanschlüsse an die in Keramik Q eingebetteten Anschlußkontaktstifte C, welche mit einer Schutzhaube E versehen sind. Schickt man in einen solchen heizenden Transformator durch den· Anschluß C einen Wechselstrom, wie man diesen aus dem Netz entnimmt, so wird durch die Erregerspule/3 ein starker Wechselkraftfluß erzeugt, welcher sich in der ferromagnetischen Masse kräftig ausbilden kann. Die im Transformator in Wärme umgesetzte elektrische Wechselstromenergie ist vom angewandten ferromagnetischen Massivmaterial abhängig, d. h., es ist nicht gleichgültig, aus welcher ferromagnetischen leitenden Masse der Kernaufbau des heizenden Transformators besteht. Untersuchungen haben gezeigt, daß sich die ferrömagnetischen, leitenden Metalle sehr unterschiedlich verhalten bei gleicher Masse und Stromstärkendurchfhitung. Es können demnach beim neuen Transformator nur ganz geringe Ableitungsverluste erzielt werden. Der beim neuen Transformator erzielte gute Wirkungsgrad wird erreicht durch die kurze und allseitig umschlossene Primärwicklung. Das zweiteilige ferroimagnetische MassliVgehäuse Ai, B hat dabei den Vorteil einer schnellen Montage der Primärwicklung P, welche vorher auf einer Wickelmaschine aufgespult wurde.The object of the heating transformer forming the invention is described, for example, in an embodiment as a cooking or heating plate for vulcanizing purposes or the like and is shown schematically in the drawing.
