Es wurde nun gefunden, daß man die Tränkung derartiger Textilien mit wäßrigen Polysiloxanemulsionen in Gegenwart von wasserlöslichen, bakterizid wirkenden Stoffen vornehmen kann. Dadurch wird nicht nur ein mit Silikonöl präp:axiertes, sondern. auch zugleich ein mit bakterizid wirkenden Stoffen beladenes Poliertuch erhalten, welches besondere Vorteile bietet. Man kann gegebenenfalls auch ein mit bakterizid wirkenden Stoffen vorbehandeltes Gewebe mit der Silikonölemulsion nachbehandeln. In beiden Fällen erhält man ein Textilmaterial in Form von Poliertüchern von der erfindungsgemäßen Beschaffenheit. Es wurde festgestellt, -daß ein solch-es Tuch nicht nur als Poliertuch auf glatten oder polierten Gegenständen :einen Hochglanz erzeugt, sondern daß auch die von dem Tuch aufgenommenen Bakterien im Tuch vernichtet werden. Es wurde ferner gefunden, daß das Haftvermögen von Bakterien auf silikonbehandelten Flächen geringer ist als auf unbehandelten Flächen, und infolge- dessen mit Hilfe der. bakteriziden Poliertücher Bak- terien leicht entfernt und im Tuch vernichtet werden können. Dadurch ist die Verwendung eines zu- gleich bakteriziden Silikoxipollvertuches besonders dä angezeigt, wo aus hygienischen Gründen eine leichte Entfernung und Vernichtung von Bakterien an- gestrebt werden. ruß, z. B. in Geschäften mit Glas- theken, in Krankenhäusern oder bei solchen Gegen- ständen, die einem häufig wechselnden Personen- kreis zugänglich sind, z. B. in Friseurläcjen. - Als bakterizide Mittel kommen wasserlösliche Stoffe in Frage, wie Phenolaüe, chlorierte Phenolate und deren Homologe, höhermolekulja:re quaternäre Ammoniumverbindungen, Amine und Aminosärumen. Beispiel 12 Gewichtsteile Methylpolysiloxanöl, 6 Gewichts- teile Isopxopylalkohol, 7 Gewichtsteile Triäthylamin und i Gewichtsteil Ölsäure werden miteinander ver- mischt und in 175 Gewichtsteile einer i%igen .wäßxigen Chlor-Kxesolseifenlösung gegossen.
