Description

Beschreibung
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen gewebten Bodenbelag aus Naturfasern, insbesondere pflanzlichen Fasern, mit beschichteteter Rückseite.
Es sind gewebte Bodenbeläge aus Kokosfasern bekannt, deren Rückseite mit einem Schaum aus Synthese- oder Naturlatex beschichtet ist, was der Dimensionsstabilität, der Trittschalldämmung und dem Gehkomfort zugute kommt. Auch bei gewebten Bodenbelägen aus anderen Naturfasern, wie beispielsweise Sisalfasern, hat man schon einen Rücken aus solchem Material vorgesehen. Derartige Rücken sind deswegen nachteilig, weil sie zu Entsorgungsproblemen führen.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Bodenbelag der eingangs angegebenen Art zu schaffen, weicher nach Gebrauch umweltschonend beseitigt werden kann.
Diese Aufgabe ist dadurch gelöst, daß an die Rückseite des gewebten Bodenbelags aus Naturfasern, insbesondere Fasern pflanzlichen Ursprungs, eine Filzschicht angenadelt wird, welche ebenfalls aus Naturfasern, vorzugsweise Fasern pflanzlichen Ursprungs, besteht. In besonderer Ausgestaltung der Erfindung kann das Gewebe sich aus Kokos- und/oder Sisalfasern zusammensetzen, während die an dessen Rückseite angenadelte Filzschicht aus Flachs- und/oder Jutefasern besteht.
Das Annadeln der Filzschicht an das Gewebe erfolgt mittels einer Nadelmaschine auf an sich bekannte Art und Weise (DE-OS 39 04 526).
Beim erfindungsgemäßen gewebten Bodenbelag ist der übliche Rücken aus Latexschaum oder dergleichen durch eine angenadelte Filzschicht aus Naturfasern, vorzugsweise Pflanzenfasern, ersetzt, welche untrennbar mit dem Belaggewebe verbunden ist und sich beispielsweise bezüglich der Dimensionsstabilität, der Trittschalldämmung und des Gehkomforts genauso günstig aus-
wirkt. Der gesamte Bodenbelag besteht also ausschließlich aus Naturfasern, und zwar vorzugsweise aus Pflanzenfasern, so daß er bei Kompostierung vollständig verrottet und eine biologische Masse ergibt oder problemlos ohne Rückstände verbrannt werden kann. Er führt zu keinerlei Sondermüll, sondern zu ganz gewöhnlichem Hausmüll.
Nachstehend ist eine Ausführungsform des gewebten Bodenbelags nach der Erfindung anhand einer Zeichnung beispielsweise beschrieben, deren einzige Figur einen vertikalen Schnitt durch den Bodenbelag zeigt.
Der dargestellte Bodenbelag besteht aus einem Gewebe 1 mit Kett- und Schußfäden aus Kokosfasern. An die Rückseite 2 des Bodenbelags bzw. des Gewebes 1 ist eine etwa 4 mm starke Filzschicht 3 aus Flachs- und Jutefasern untrennbar angenadelt, welche einen federnden Rücken bildet.

Claims (2)

Schutzansprüche
1. Gewebter Bodenbelag aus Naturfasern, insbesondere pflanzlichen Fasern, mit beschichteter Rückseite, dadurch gekennze ichnet, daß an die Rückseite (2) eine Filzschicht (3) aus Naturfasern, vorzugsweise pflanzlichen Fasern, angenadelt ist.
2. Bodenbelag nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennze ichnet, daß das Gewebe (1) aus Kokos- und/oder Sisalfasern besteht und die rückseitig angenadelte Filzschicht (3) aus Flachs- und/oder 3utefasern.
