Bei Blitzleuchten, die für den Ateliergebrauch bestimmt sind, ist es bekannt, eine Einstell-Lichtquelle zu verwenden. Man hat zu diesem Zweck Blitzröhren mit eingebauten Glühlampenwendeln benutzt. Dabei läßt es sich jedoch nicht erreichen, daß die mit verhältnismäßig kleiner Fläche leuchtende Einstell-Lichtquelle das gleiche Feld ausleuchtet, das von dem relativ großflächigen Blitz ausgeleuchtet wird. Die Lichtfelder unterscheiden sich sowohl in ihrer Größe als auch in ihrer Lichtverteilung. Es ist deshalb bereits vorgeschlagen worden, die Einrichtung so 'zu treffen, daß eine Einstell-Lichtquelle mit großer leuchtender Fläche vorübergehend an Stelle der Blitzröhre in den Reflektor gebracht werden kann.
