Mit dieser Zange kann aufzunehmendes Gut so erfaßt werden, daß gar kein oder ein nur geringer Druck auf dasselbe ausgeübt wird. Das wird einerseits durch die beiden als Greifer eingesetzten Schalen und andererseits durch deren Zinken erreicht. Die Schalen bilden bei geschlossener Zange einen rohrförmigen Hohlraum, in dem das erfaßte Gut über eine längere Strecke, welche der Breite der Schalen entspricht, liegen kann. Dieser Hohlraum ist in seinen minimalen Abmessungen durch die bei geschlossener Zange ineinander greifenden Zinken festgelegt, die ein Verkleinern des Hohlraums nicht zulassen. Auf ein erfaßtes Gut wird daher nur dann Druck ausgeübt, wenn seine Abmessungen die Abmessungen des Hohlraums überschreiten. Die in Fig. 1 dargestellte Zange besteht aus zwei langgestreckten Schenkeln 1 und 2, die an der etwa in ihrer Mitte liegenden Stelle 3 drehbar miteinander verbunden sind. Am einen Ende der Schenkel 1 und 2 sind Griffe 4 und 5 angebracht. Am anderen Ende der Schenkel 1 und 2 befinden sich Greifer, die als Schalen 6 und 7 ausgeführt sind.
