Den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet eine Neuerung an continuirlich arbeitenden Kämmmaschinen, welche einen ringförmigen Kamm A (s. Fig. 4) haben, der in einer horizontalen Ebene angeordnet und auf seinem Umfange mit mehreren Reihen verticaler Kammnadeln besetzt ist und während seiner langsam drehenden Bewegung alle Theile seines Umfanges nach einander an folgenden Theilen vorbeiführt: 1. an einem Zuführungsapparat Z für die zu kämmende Wolle, 2. an einem Kamm Y, der den aus dem Hauptkamm A hervorragenden Theil der Wollfasern zu kämmen bestimmt ist, 3. an Ausziehcylindern X, welche die gekämmten Theile ergreifen und sie mitnehmen und gleichzeitig das Auskämmen des anderen Endes des herausgezogenen Faserbartes bewirken durch Herausziehen aus den Kammnadeln des ringförmigen Hauptkammes A und quer durch die Kammnadeln eines »Nacteur« genannten Kammes V für die Schlufskämmung, 4. an einem Reinigungsapparat T, welcher den ringförmigen Hauptkamm A von den aus Unreinigkeiten und ganz kurzen Wollhaaren bestehenden Kämmlingen reinigt, .welche die Ausziehcylinder X nicht vor dem Hauptkamm abgenommen haben.The subject of the present invention is an innovation in continuously working combing machines, which have an annular comb A (see Fig. 4) which is arranged in a horizontal plane and has several rows of vertical comb needles on its circumference and all of them during its slowly rotating movement Part of its circumference passes the following parts one after the other: 1. to a feed apparatus Z for the wool to be combed, 2. to a comb Y, which is intended to comb the part of the wool fibers protruding from the main comb A , 3. to pull-out cylinders X, which grasp the combed parts and take them with them and at the same time effect the combing out of the other end of the pulled tuft by pulling it out of the comb needles of the ring-shaped main comb A and across the comb needles of a comb V called "Nacteur" for the silt combing, 4. on a cleaning apparatus T. , which the main annular ridge A from the impurities and whole short wool hairs existing noils, which the pull-out cylinder X has not removed before the main comb.

Die Neuerung besteht nun in der Zwischenschaltung eines zweiten Kammes B und eines zweiten Ausziehapparates C zwischen die gewöhnlichen Ausziehcylinder X und den Reiniger T. Die Vortheile einer derartigen Einrichtung sind die folgenden: 1. Dadurch, dafs man ein wiederholtes Ausziehen oder Strecken anwendet, welches sich mit den kurzen Theilen der Wolle beschäftigt, wird es möglich, für das gewöhnliche Ausziehen oder Strecken stärkere Walzen X¹ anzuwenden, die man vortheilhaft von dem ringförmigen Hauptkamm A entfernt. Infolge dessen kommt es für das Endresultat wesentlich weniger darauf an, wieviel Wolle noch in den Kämmlingen der ersten Kämmung zurückbleibt, da diese Kämmlinge noch einem zweiten Ausziehen und einer Streckung unterworfen werden. Diese Anordnung von grofsen Walzen erlaubt es, der Maschine mehr Kämmgut zuzuführen und die Production zu vergröfsern. 2. Da zwei hinter einander arbeitende Streckungen zur Anwendung kommen, die eine für die lange Wolle (bei X¹), die andere für die kurze Wolle (bei C), so ist der schliefslich verbleibende Antheil an Kämmlingen wesentlich vermindert. 3. Die doppelte Streckung erlaubt ferner, zwei Faserbänder verschiedener Qualität zu erhalten, deren eines (R) alle langen Fasern, deren anderes (Q). alle kurzen Fasern enthält und als Einschlag oder für Strumpfwirkerei verwendbar ist. 4. Das Kammgarn ist besser gereinigt wie auf den gewöhnlichen Kämmmaschinen, denn einerseits, wenn man die ersten Streck cylinder X¹ in einer geeigneten Entfernung von dem ringförmigen Hauptkamm A anbringen kann, kann man nach Belieben, das Mitreifsen von Kletten und den für gewöhnlich mit dem kurzen Antheil der Wolle mitgerissenen anderen Unreinigkeiten verhindern.The advantages of such a device are as follows: 1. Diese Spannriegel haben eine Bewegung, welche die Wolle über die Nadeln des Hauptkammes A führt und sie sodann in diese Nadeln hineindrückt. Auf diese Weise wird der ringförmige Hauptkamm A mit den Wollfasern beschickt und bringt dieselben vor die Arbeitskämme Y, welche aus Stäbchen bestehen, die sich in einer Vierseitbewegung befinden, infolge deren sich abwechselnd bald der eine, bald der andere bei dem ringförmigen Kamm A erhebt und in die Wolle hineinfafst. Darauf entfernen sie sich horizontal unter Bethätigung des Kämmvorganges und senken sich darauf, um ihre Thätigkeit nahe dem Kamm zu wiederholen. The small quantity of noils which remains on the former after the passage of the main comb past the auxiliary stretching apparatus is eventually removed by the ordinary cleaner T.
