Pflanzsubstrat für Topfpflanzungen u.s.w.
Die Neuerung betrifft ein Pflanzsubstrat für Topfpflanzen, Pflanzschalen, Balkonkästen u.s.w. ohne Torfzusatz.
Es sind verschiedene torffreie Substrate bekannt. Nachteil dieser Substrate ist ihre geringe Wasserspeicherfähigkeit sowie ihr relativ großes Transportvolumen.
Es ist Aufgabe der Neuerung, ein Pflanzsubstrat zu schaffen, welches die genannten Nachteile nicht hat. Das geschieht neuerungsgemäß dadurch, daß unter ein torffreies Substrat, z.B. aus aufbereiteten Holzabfällen ein Superabsorber ( organisches Copolymer ) gemischt wird.
Neuerungsgemäß zeigt die Zeichnung in Figur A das getrocknete Substrat (1) mit dem Superabsorber (2) in Eiform (3) .
Figur B Zeigt das gebrauchsfertige gequollene Substrat (4) mit dem aufgequollenen Superabsorber (5)

Claims (2)

Schutzansprüche
1.) Pflanzsubstrat für Topfpflanzen, Pflanzschalen Balkonkästen u.s.v. hergestellt ohne Torf, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Material zu besseren Wasserspeicherung mit Superabsorbern gemischt ist.
2.) Pflanzsubstrat nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Substrat getrocknet und zur Eiform verpresst ist.
