Description
Arrangement for the lubrication of plain bearings of vertically standing shafts, especially fast-running electric motors, e.g. B. to drive spinning centrifuges In electric motors with a vertical shaft for spinning centrifuge drives and the like, it is known to provide a circulating oil lubrication system to lubricate the ball bearings, in which the 01 from a container located below the motor into which the lower end of the Shaft immersed, is conveyed through a central bore in the shaft to the radial bores above the top bearing, from which the oil is then ejected and thus reaches the ball bearings, from where it flows back into the reservoir. When increasing the speed of such motors, however, it is desirable for various reasons, including to avoid noise, to replace the ball bearings with plain bearings. The invention is based on the object of making the oil circulation lubrication described at the beginning, which has already proven itself for ball bearings, also applicable for sliding bearings.
The invention consists in that through the central bore of the Shaft delivered oil through the radial bores above the bearing or above of the upper bearing under one on the face of the bearing. resting shoulder of the Shaft or a guide ring attached to the shaft is thrown, whose Support surface is partially interrupted.
The oil ejected from the hollow shaft lifts the shaft or the Guide ring and forms a lubricating film between the bearing face and the guide ring.
The C51 sprayed off by the guide ring is controlled by suitable devices out to the plain bearing and lubricates this, whereupon it, if necessary after Lubrication of a second bearing arranged below the first bearing, in the Oil reservoir flows back.
The invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. The drawing Figure 10 shows a cross section through the bearing assembly of one embodiment of a for driving spinning centrifuges serving electric motor.
In the hollow shaft i, which is the rotor of the electric motor, not shown carries, an elastic spindle 2 is arranged in a known manner on which the Spinning centrifuge sits. The shaft i is supported in two plain bearings 3 and ¢. That Weight of the motor and the centrifuge drum is attached to the shaft i by a The guide ring 5, which is supported on the upper end face of the bearing 3, is intercepted. The lower end of the spindle: 2 is immersed in the oil reservoir 6, so that the oil when the shaft rotates as a result of the centrifugal force in the central bore of the Spindle 2 rises, from where it passes through the radial bores 7 into the space passes between spindle a and hollow shaft i, it then increases further up to radial Bores 8 in the hollow shaft from which it is ejected in order to be lubricated to serve the camp. According to the invention, the oil is now through the radial bores 8 thrown between the guide ring 5 and the upper end face of the bearing body 3, its bearing surface partially, as indicated in the drawing, by radial grooves 9 is interrupted. The oil thrown off by the guide ring 5 then enters axially parallel millings io on the outer diameter of the plain bearing body 3, which according to Form cavities bounded on the outside by the bearing housing i i. Down are these Cavities io closed by a cover plate 12, so that it is in them collecting oil is forced to deposit any foreign bodies and through Radial bores 13 emanating from the cutouts io to the sliding surface of the bearing 3 to flow. From here, the dripping oil reaches the upper face of the lower bearing 4, which is constructed essentially the same as the bearing 3. It also has axially parallel cutouts 14 on the outer circumference, which go through below a cover plate 15 are covered, and radial bores 16, the oil of the sliding surface respectively. From here the oil returns to the reservoir 6.
In order to enrich in case of excessive oil production through the hollow shaft of oil over the bearings and thus possible penetration into the winding space of the motor To prevent it, it may be useful to provide the bearing 3 with axially parallel holes 17, which also through the cover plate 12, continue to be provided by the Oil that collects over the bearing can flow off without going into the radial bores 13 and thus to get to the sliding surfaces. Corresponding axial holes can can also be provided for the lower bearing 4.
It is also useful to prevent the ingress of the in the storage container 6 to prevent oil in the winding space of the motor when the motor is tilted from its vertical position, a collecting space in a manner known per se to be provided for the oil into which it can flow from the container 6. In which illustrated embodiment, an annular space 18 is arranged for this purpose, which is located in the bearing housing i i between the two bearings 3 and 4. One conically tapering guide sleeve i9 between the two bearings 3 and 4 prevented this causes the oil to run into the winding space of the motor.
The invention is not related to the illustrated and described exemplary embodiment bound. For example, instead of the axial bores 17 of the Bearing between the cutouts to provide further additional cutouts, which are not connected to the radial bores 13. It can go further recommend, in order to achieve a resilient fit of the cover disks 12 and 15, to arrange a spring washer 2o below the lower cover disk 15. An excessive Oil production can advantageously also be prevented in that the amount of oil in the reservoir 6 is dimensioned so that in the operation after reaching a certain Filling level of the bearings the suction spindle no longer reaches the oil level. Oil production will then cease and overfilling of the camp will definitely occur avoided. In this case, the continuous oil circulation takes the place of the oil intermittent circulation.
