Description
Lubricating device for the neck bearing designed as a roller bearing from Spinning and twisting spindles The invention relates to a lubricating device for spinning and Z- # virnspindle bearings in which a roller bearing is used as a neck bearing will.
In spindles of this type, the neck bearing is generally lubricated by the smallest quantities of oil, which are raised when the shaft is rotating. This device, which experience has shown is sufficient in practice under normal operating conditions, that is to say at speeds that are not too high and running smoothly and not too heavy bobbins, is, however, often insufficient under difficult operating conditions. In the case of lubrication breaks of 5,000 to 7,000 hours, which are common in normal operation, damage to the neck bearing often occurs as a result of a lack of lubricant in heavily loaded spindles. A number of devices have been known and used, the purpose of which is to ensure better delivery of the oil and thus also adequate lubrication of the neck bearing. These devices use the rotation of the spindle shaft to convey the oil and, in some cases, the vibration phenomena occurring on the spindles. However, it is very difficult to adjust the delivery of lubricating oil so that it is just right for the neck bearing. Any too high delivery has a similarly damaging effect as insufficient lubricant supply, because with excessive oil supply the neck bearing heats up and the power requirement of the spindle increases. In addition, excessive lubrication of the neck bearing results in C) 1 losses, as a result of which the operating time that can be achieved with one oil filling is shortened. With regard to a pumping effect of oil as a result of vibrations in the spindle, it should also be mentioned that a spindle with well-developed vibration damping should not exhibit any significant vibrations.
With the lubricating device according to the invention it has been possible to to achieve sufficient but economical lubrication of the neck bearing in a new way, namely in that the space surrounding the spindle shaft, liquid Bearing sleeve containing lubricant on an inner surface facing the spindle shaft is provided with deflecting surfaces, which are caused by the rotating spindle shaft disturb the smooth circulation of the lubricating liquid in such a way that it starts to foam and emits an oil vapor that has entered the neck bearing. In contrast to the known Artificial lubrication for rolling bearings is therefore not an additional means, such as such as compressed air, used to generate the oil mist.
With this type of lubrication, the spindle consumes very little oil, so that the time intervals at which the lubricant must be topped up can be significantly increased. Even greater lubrication intervals can be achieved if, in accordance with the concept of the invention, a cover that closes off the space between the spindle shaft and the bearing sleeve above the neck bearing ensures that the oil vapor cannot escape from the spindle via the neck bearing. Such a device has the further advantage that 01, which would otherwise be thrown over the neck bearing after the first start-up due to excessive levels in the housing, is for the most part collected and retained.
The bearing sleeve according to the invention also enables a simple one Labor and material-saving production and offers the possibility of a new, particularly appropriate fastening of both the footrest and the individual parts, which are necessary for vibration damping.
The invention is illustrated in the drawings, for example.
Fig. I is a longitudinal section through a lubricating device designed according to the invention or bearing sleeve with spindle shaft partially drawn in view; Figs. 2, 3 and 4 show cross sections through the bearing sleeve in three different embodiments ; Fi.g. 5 is a bearing sleeve of another embodiment in longitudinal section and FIG. 6 a cross-section to this; Fig. 7 shows in axial section the covering device for holding back from initially excess lubricant; Fig. 8 shows in the same way of representation . A cover device of another embodiment serving the same purpose, and FIG. g is a cross section through a damping sleeve applied according to FIG.
In the bearing or spindle sleeve i, which is secured by means of the spherical head 2, as known per se, rests in a pendulous manner in the bearing body 22, is by means of the roller bearing 3 and a foot bearing 7 of the shaft, which is not shown in FIG. 1, but is shown in FIG. 5 5 of the rapidly rotating spindle. The lubricating liquid, e.g. B. Oil, fills the lower part of the space between spindle sleeve i and spindle shaft 5 and is carried along by the very fast rotating spindle shaft. Your circulation will however disturbed by irregularities on the inside of the sleeve i. According to Fig. i and 2 is namely according to the invention the inner surface of the spindle sleeve i with a Longitudinal groove 6 is provided, which opposes the circulating lubricating fluid with an abutting edge and thus to a local vortex formation as well as to the penetration of oil bubbles into the upper layer of liquid gives rise to. Foam formation is observed, rising Oil bubbles and oil vapor that penetrates into the neck bearing 3 and secures it but concerned about economical lubrication. As tests have shown, it is possible to In this way, the lubrication of the neck bearing can still be ensured when the The oil level has already sunk so far that oil can be pumped into the neck bearing in the previously usual way by rotating the spindle shaft is no longer possible is.
Instead of the longitudinal groove 6, according to FIG. 3, a longitudinal groove can also be used strip-like projection 16 can be used or according to FIG. q. the above Edge 26 of a substantially closed longitudinal slot.
Instead of the drawn faults running in the longitudinal direction or deflection surfaces are also individually distributed on the inner surface of the spindle sleeve Elevations or depressions applicable.
The most suitable is an open longitudinal slot 36 (Fig. 5 and 6) proven that an oil circulation from the bearing sleeve i into the surrounding cavity of the bearing body 22 and increases the lubricant holding space.
The open slot 36 has the advantage that it is not only very simple can be produced, but also adapt well to the oil requirements of the neck bearing 3 lets when he, z. B. is held closer up near the neck bearing 3 than below, because a high level of oil in the spindle sleeve requires less steam formation than a lower. Furthermore, when defining the width of the slot, the influence of the speed, with which the spindle rotates, must be taken into account. The slot 36 thus offers the Possibility of metering the lubrication in the simplest way as required.
According to manufacturing, the slot allows the bearing sleeve from one Sheet metal rolled open pipe to be made without further reworking on the sleeve head 2 is welded on. The assembly of the foot bearing 7 is also simplified in a such Embodiment of the bearing sleeve because it can no longer be pressed in mini and consequently even an exact machining of the foot bearing seat surface in the bearing sleeve is no longer necessary is necessary. All that is needed is a shrink ring 9, which in addition to the task the damping organs 13 and q. to hold the slotted bearing sleeve from the outside applied to the footrest.
If the spindle is not filled with oil, the connection is particularly good the outer oil space between the housing and the bearing sleeve with the inner oil space between Shank and bearing sleeve desired, in order to have another one even under such conditions Obtain oil circulation, which ensures the formation of oil vapor to lubricate the neck bearing. It is therefore useful, even with the outside of the actual bearing sleeve i lying damping sleeve 13 to make recesses or according to Fig. 5 and 9 to be produced as an open tube with a continuous longitudinal slot 46.
With each new filling of the lubricant reservoir, a little more oil is usually filled into the spindle than is necessary. This 01 is thrown out in general in the first hours of operation on the neck bearing of the spindle, is lowered so far until the oil level, that the promotion is relieved. In order to make it possible to use it to lubricate the neck bearing and to extend the time that a lubricant filling lasts even further, it is advisable to attach 3 cover devices over the neck bearing, which on the one hand store the oil thrown out of the neck bearing and in the Release slowly over time and, on the other hand, form a better closure of the neck bearing against the escape of the oil vapor.
According to FIG. 5, a non-removable cover 8 with a relatively large cavity i2 is provided in which the 01 is caught and from which it flows back into the spindle when the machine is at a standstill.
Fig. 7 shows a similar cover device with the difference that the cover 8 is removable and can be filled with fat, which in the beginning, as long as 01 is still pumped out over the neck bearing, serves as an oil reservoir and then its lubricant supply again in the course of time gives away. In addition, such a grease filling acts as a good seal against the escape of oil vapor.
In Fig. 8 is in the lid 8 of the labyrinth-like closure and a storage device consisting of disc-shaped Bodies 23 and 2q ..
The diversity of the illustrated embodiments shows that the realization of the inventive idea beyond that also among other Modifications are possible. For example, the lubricant can circulate interfering surfaces instead of on the bearing sleeve on any, with the bearing sleeve in connection parts that are stationary and that do not participate in the rotary movement.
