Description

The invention relates to a kit for a transportable and demountable crash barrier for mobile use in road racing - road racing in particular those with touring racing cars are becoming increasingly popular.

In such races, the drivers as well as the spectators must be protected from the consequences of driving errors and the resulting accidents. For this purpose, impact walls are required which, on the one hand, absorb the forces of the impacting vehicles or objects and, on the other hand ^, must be designed in such a way that the view of the race for the spectators is not obstructed.

The ^relevant technical building regulations as well as the wishes and information of the organizer must be taken into account.

Such barriers must also be transportable and demountable so that they can be set up, adapted to the race track and removed again at any time and as required.

The applicable technical building regulations also include state requirements.

When designing the wall, an angle of 30° is generally assumed for a vehicle impact or for a frontal horizontal load of around 70 KN at a height of approx. 100 cm, with the load being distributed over 5 metres, for example.

Furthermore, there must be sufficient stability and anti-slip safety and a protective grille, preferably a wire mesh fence, must be provided above the wall.

The invention is therefore based on the object of creating a kit which takes these requirements into account .

This object is achieved according to the invention by a kit according to the characterizing part of claim 1, whereby this kit for a transportable crash barrier for mobile use in street racing consists of at least two cuboid-shaped sliding wall elements and at least one locking bolt, on the front sides of which at least one vertically running, U-shaped recess and/or at least one recess spaced from the front sides is arranged and two sliding wall elements together with their front-side recesses form a square, force-locking locking joint in cross-section and/or with their recesses spaced from the front sides form a force-locking connection for receiving a locking bolt.

To accommodate guard rails, safety fences, etc., vertical recesses are provided in the sliding wall elements, which can accommodate the posts of the safety fences or guard rails. Furthermore, recesses can be arranged horizontally in the sliding wall element to accommodate a U-shaped locking bolt. Furthermore, horizontal recesses are made in the sliding wall element according to the invention, which allow old tires to be hung up using a sleeve or similar. The locking bars are preferably cuboid or rectangular in shape so that they can be inserted into the recesses, which are square in cross section and are formed by two elements, and thus form a force-fitting connection, whereby in a special embodiment of the invention it is provided that these locking bars are provided with closing loops on their front sides.

In order to achieve the required dead weight, concrete is the ideal material for manufacturing the sliding wall elements.

In order to use the recesses spaced from the front sides as a force-locking connection, the locking bolts are preferably U-shaped, with the spaced recesses being introduced either vertically or horizontally in the sliding wall element.

Another particularly preferred embodiment of the invention provides that corresponding eyelets are embedded in the horizontally arranged recesses for receiving rod-shaped locking bolts.

The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings which show particular embodiments of the invention.

Figure 1 shows the sliding wall element 1 in a perspective view.

Preferably, this is cuboid-shaped and cast from concrete. On the front sides 3 of the sliding wall element 1, there is a vertical and U-shaped recess 4, which in the assembled kit forms a locking system or a locking joint with a square cross-section and accommodates the locking bolt 2 belonging to the kit. To accommodate guard rails, protective fences, etc., the sliding wall element 1 has corresponding vertical recesses 5, into which the posts of the aforementioned protective fences, etc. can be inserted. Due to the high deadweight, it is necessary to provide appropriate devices for crane accommodation in the sliding wall element 1. For this purpose, recesses 9 are recessed in which corresponding lifting bolts 10 are arranged countersunk. Alternatively, for more optimal load distribution, four recesses 9 are expedient, for example, as shown in Figure 12.

Another variant for lifting the elements provides that the water drains 8 are adapted to the cross-section of the lifting forks of a forklift truck, as indicated in Figure 13.

For the purpose of hanging old tires as additional impact protection, horizontal recesses 6 are provided,

so that the walls of the GI 1" wall component facing the road can be equipped with tires or the like.

Furthermore, it is necessary to provide water drainage notches 8 in the area of the floor surface 7, which penetrate the sliding wall element 1 in its full thickness.

It is possible to run the recesses 9, 5 and 6 continuously through the sliding wall element 1 or to design them as inlets.

It is a special feature of the invention that no parts of the kit elements protrude beyond the sliding wall element, which could lead to a risk of injury.

Figure 2 shows the locking latch 2 according to the invention. It is designed in such a way that it forms a force-locking closure together with the recesses ¹ J of two sliding wall elements 1. Figures 3, 4 and 5 show the sliding wall element 1 according to the invention from different views as indicated in Figure 1. The same reference numerals are used here for the same elements. From Figure 3 it can also be seen that the lifting bolt 10 is arranged horizontally in the sliding element 1 and is optionally positioned transversely or parallel to the front side 17.

Figure 6 shows the detail marked A in Figure 1 in an enlarged view. For clarity, two sliding wall elements 1 are placed face to face to make it clear that the U-shaped recesses U together form a square lock in connection with the locking bolt 2 (not shown). U-shaped sleeves 11 are embedded in the recesses U. These are preferably made of metallic material.

Figure 7 shows the detail of the lifting device marked with B in Figure 1. The recess 9 can be seen in which the lifting bolt 10 is embedded, which is used for the purpose of assembly by a crane. Here too, a reinforcing sleeve 14 is embedded, as is also the case in the recesses 5 and 6, with the reinforcing sleeves 12 and 13 in the recesses 5 and 6.

Figure 8 shows a further variant of the lifting device according to Figure 7, in which the lifting bolt 10 is not only welded to the sleeve 1U, but also protrudes beyond it through a hole provided in the sleeve 14 and is inserted into the concrete material of the sliding wall element 1. This can also be necessary for government reasons.

Figures 9 and 10 show the kit according to the invention in the assembled state. It is clear from these illustrations that a curve can also be formed with the kit elements. Figure 11 shows the detail marked C in Figure 10 in an enlarged view. When forming the curve, the sliding wall element 1a is placed at the corner point 22 of the sliding wall element 1 and a radius is drawn on the back to form a gap 23. The locking bar 2 is not affected in the frictional connection.

Figure 12 shows a further variant of the lifting device. In order to achieve optimal load distribution, four recesses 9 are made in the sliding wall element 1 in this exemplary embodiment. As already described above, it is possible to design all of the recesses made in the sliding wall element 1 either as continuous or as so-called "sack inlets".

Figure 13 shows a further variant of a lifting device, wherein the water drainage notches 8 on the bottom sides have the shape of forks of a forklift truck in cross section.

Figure 1U shows an example of a further force-locking connection. A locking bolt 2a with a U-shape is used here, which is inserted into the vertical recesses 5. The recesses 5 that are also used for the posts of the fences can be used here. Here too, as indicated in Figure 14a, it is possible to provide these locking bolts with a pull loop so that they are sunk. In this case, recesses 25 running towards the front side are to be provided in the sliding wall elements 1.

Figure 15 shows a variant of the force-locking connection according to Figure 14, wherein the recesses and the locking latch are arranged on the rear side of the sliding wall element 1.

Figure 16 shows a further variant of the force-locking connection, in which corresponding eyelets 24 are set into the horizontal recesses 5, which serve to receive the flat-shaped locking bolts 2b.

For additional sliding safety on the ground, it is possible to lay a felt or rubber mat on the ground before placing the guide wall elements 1. This has the property of compensating for height differences to a certain extent and also increasing the sliding resistance between the ground and the sliding wall element.

The present invention provides a kit that easily forms a transportable and demountable crash barrier that is ideal for mobile use in street racing.
