Wie in Figur 1 dargestellt, soll mit dem Dichtungsband 1 eine Baufuge 2 abgedichtet werden. Das Dichtungsband besteht aus einem Folienband 4 aus Kautschuk von z.B. 0,5 mm Wandstärke. An den beiden Randbereichen 5 und 5' des .Folienbandes 4 sind, etwas nach innen versetzt, parallele Haftötreifen 6 und 6· aus einer Kleb- und Dichtungsmasse von nicht unter 15 mm Breite aufgetragen. Die Materialdicke dieser Streifen kann bis zu ca. 1 mm betragen und liegt nicht unter 0,3 mm.
