i Wasserstoffatom enthalten.
Process for the preparation of alkali salts of nitroalkanes and nitrocycloalkanes
It is known that nitroalkanes and nitrocycloalkanes form salts with alkalis,
as far as sl> e, at least the carbon atoms carrying the nitro group
i contain hydrogen atom. However, the rate of formation of the salts is
Use of aqueous alkali .often very little, so that the yield, in part
also as a result of N@ebienreaktio.nen, is sometimes bad.
It has now been found that the formation of the alkali salts is much more rapid
happens when small amounts of oximes are dissolved in the nitroalkanes and then
allows the aqueous alkali to act on this solution. The salts are formed
then with self-heating instantly and in almost quantitative yield.
Als Oxim kann man grundsätzlich jedes Aldehyd-oder Ketonioxim verwenden;
verwendet man höherkonzentrierte z. B. ?5- bis soo,'oige Laugen.
Die Alkailisialze der- Nitroalkane bzw. -Nitrocyclo-
alkane :sind wertvolle Zwischenprodukte.

In principle, any aldehyde or ketone oxime can be used as the oxime; the oxime corresponding to the nitroalkane or nitrocycloialcan used is expediently used. About 0.5 to 100 per cent, calculated on the nitro compound, are sufficient. The concentration of the aqueous alkali lye is expediently above i 5 0'o, preferably more highly concentrated z. B.? 5- to soo, 'oige lye. The Alkailisialze der- Nitroalkane or -Nitrocyclo-
alkanes: are valuable intermediate products.
