Description

The invention relates to a fly protection device for windows or doors.

There are various types of fly screens that use fly wire or fly gauze that is clamped into a fixed frame. These types of fly screens are placed in the window opening and locked with special elements. When the use of these screens is no longer necessary, they must be removed and stored in a separate place. Since the fly wire and fly gauze are firmly clamped into the frame, there is a risk of destruction if they are subjected to impact or pressure.

The object of the present invention is to provide a fly protection device that is relatively easy to manufacture, which is easy to install, whose wearing parts are easy to replace and in which the risk of destruction of the gauze under impact and pressure loads is minimized.

This task is solved by training according to the racing character of claim 1.

The fly protection device designed according to the invention is relatively simple in its construction. It can be easily installed in the window or door reveal and is particularly suitable for retrofitting windows and doors. The fly protection device can be installed both inside and outside. Side brush strips ensure good guidance and sealing. If the gauze is subjected to impact or pressure loads, it is simply pushed out of the side guides and not destroyed; it automatically re-threads itself by rolling up and down. Both the brush strips and the gauze itself are relatively easy to replace should this become necessary.

The drawing shows a fly screen device 2 for installation in the reveal of a window or door. The device 2 consists of a box 4 in which a spring shaft is mounted for winding up and unwinding a fly screen 8 in the manner of a roller blind.

One end of the gases is releasably attached to the spring shaft 6 by means of clamping elements 10.

U-shaped guide rails 12, 12' running downwards on the sides of the box 4 are connected, the legs 14, 14' and 16, 16' of which are provided on the inside with brush strips 18, 18', between which the side edges 22, 22' of the gauze 8 run, with the brushes of the brush strip resting on the gauze.

A U-shaped clamping profile 24 is pushed onto one leg of each of the two guide rails 12, 12* from below, which has a locking lug 26 pointing into the cavity of the guide rail and slanting downwards.

At the free end of the gauze 8 there is an end strip 28 which has a handle strip or several movable handles 30. Preferably, on the side opposite the handle strip, the end strip is provided with a V-groove 32 which has a horizontal flank 34 and a flank 34' running at an upward angle and which interacts with the locking lugs 26, in order to fix the end strip and thus the fly gauze in the closed state, i.e. in the unrolled state of the gauze.

On the lower side, the end strip 28 is provided with a brush strip 38 as a lower seal against flies. This brush strip 38 is designed like the brush strips 18, 18' and, like them, is arranged in a replaceable C-profile 39 formed on the end strip.

Fly protection device for windows or doors, characterized by a cut-out of gauze (8) which can be rolled up and down around a spring shaft (6) and whose one end is attached to this spring shaft and whose other free end has an end strip (28) attached, the side edges of the gauze (S) being guided between side brush strips (18, 18', 20, 20') and the end strip (28) being able to be fixed in place by a locking device (26, 26', 32) when the gauze (8) is unrolled. 2. Fly protection device according to claim 12, characterized in that the lateral brush strips (18, 18', 20, 20') are arranged so as to be replaceable on the inner sides of the legs (14, 14', 16, 16') of U-guide rails (12, 12'). 3. Fly protection device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the locking device consists of a groove (32) formed in the end strip (28) and a locking groove (26, 26') which is formed on a U-shaped clamping profile (24, 24') pushed onto a leg of the guide rails.
