Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Verschluß mit dem der Gabelbaum an dem Hast eines Surfbrettriggs befestigt werden kann.The invention relates to a fastener with which the boom can be attached to the handle of a surfboard rig.

Verschiedene Gabelbavmschnellverschlüsse sind seit otwa zwei Jahren bekannt. Die meisten werden mit einem Spannhebel ge- · spannt. Die Spannung des Masttampens, oder bei anderen Verschlüssen der Anpressdruck der mastumschließenden Manschette, muß in jedem Fall eingestellt werden, bevor der Verschluß durch das Umlegen des Spannhebels gespannt wird. Ein weite-, rer Nachteil dieser Verschlüsse besteht darin, daß bei einem konischen Hast durch die Veränderung der Höhenlage des Gabelbaumes die Spannung des Masttampens bzw. der Anpressdruck der Manschette ebenfalls verändert wird. Der Surfer muß also, um den Gabelbaum an: Hast höher oder tiefer zu schieben, die Trimmschot lösen, die Segellatten entspannen, den Spannhebel zurückkloppen und kann dann erst die Spannung des Maettampens bzw. den Anpressdruck der Manschette verändern vr.d anschließend den Gabelbaum in der gewünschten Höhe befestigen.Various boom quick-release fasteners have been around for about two years. Der Gabelbaumschnellverschluß besteht aus einem Gabelbaumfrontetück, ähnlich wie die seit mehreren Jahren bekannten FrontstUcke aus Kunststoff, die mit Hilfe eines losen Masttampens am Mast befestigt werden. Ein nur ca. 55 cm langer Masttampen wird in dem Loch 8 neben der Masthalterung im GabelbaumfrontstUck mit Hilfe eines Knotens befestigt. Der Masttampen 5 bildet dann eine ca. 15 cm lange Schlaufe und wird durch das Loch 9 über dem Loch 8 in das FrontstUck zurückgeführt. Hinter dem Loch 9 wird der Masttampen mit einem Knoten 10 gesichert.
