Glättzylinder ist gewöhnlich voll innen äehel'I_t.Apparatus for producing paper that is smooth on one side and processes
For the operation of such It is known that (as a result, paper is smoothed on one side
can be that @ you can attach it to you while it is still moist during manufacture
So-called: Yankee cylinder as tightly pressed as possible and dries on this smooth cylinder.
You can achieve the same effect on already finished papers if you
moisten them again and then proceed in the same way with them. The pressing
is usually done by rolling, in particular. with soft felt gusset rollers or
Rubber rollers; in some cases hard folds can also be used. Of the
Yankee cylinder is usually fully inside.
In allen
die Ablösung von der Unterlage stark erleichtert wird.6 According to the invention, in this known method, ie
where the still moist paper is passed over a Yankee cylinder while it is drying
is, on which it fits well, the rollers for pressing the paper onto the Yankee cylinder
replaced by devices for inflating the paper. The inflation can be done with Preß @ air
take place. Hot air or hot steam can also be very beneficial. In all
In these cases, in addition to the pressing of the paper, which is also effected by the rollers
Better drying of the paper is achieved on the surface of the Yankee cylinder,
namely a drying that in contrast
to that of the known
Devices usual from the outside. -The known devices have
the disadvantage that 'see excessive heating of the Yankee cylinder between the cylinder surface
and pressed on paper form vapor cushions so that the paper fibers no longer exist
all rest on the surface of the cylinder and thereby the smoothness of the paper
suffers. In contrast to this, drying takes place in the method according to the invention
of the paper, as is also known per se, from the back through the
Jet of air or steam blowing paper onto the Yankee cylinder, so d'ag that is
Formation of. Steam cushions between the Yankee cylinder and the paper surface in particular
is then avoided with certainty if completely unheated Yankee cylinders are used
be: Dlies is especially possible if you do not only have a single device
to inflate the paper at its run-up point on the Yankee cylinder
(simply as a replacement for the previous devices provided at this point
Pressure roller), but if more than one is distributed over the circumference of the Yankee cylinder
provides such inflators. In this case it is beneficial to adjust the temperature
the jets of air or dimming emerging from the individual inflation devices
to grow in the direction of the paper, so that as for example on the
Run-up point of the paper cold compressed air, for the next inflation devices
then hot air of different temperatures is used, with the temperatures
increase in the direction of the paper. In this -, - way one obtains a gradual one
Dry the paper from the back side, whereby by inflating it onto the surface
of the Yankee cylinder at ever new places a "particularly careful system
this surface is achieved. For better drying, it is possible, and more
To arrange heating elements around the Yankee cylinder, for example lamps or the like.
The placement of intensive drying devices especially near the exhaust point
of the paper has the advantage that the shrinkage of the paper
the detachment from the base is greatly facilitated.
