Bei der monolithischen Bauweise handelt es sich um Stahlbetonschornsteine, die in der beim allgemeinen Stahlbetonbau üblichen Weise mit einer in der Regel aus sich kreuzenden Stäben gebildeten Bewehrung versehen sind. Die Anordnung wird dabei zweckmäßig so getroffen, daß die lotrechten Stäbe mit einer ring- oder spiralförmigen Umschnürung mittels Punktschweißung zu einem starren Gebilde vereinigt werden, das, nachdem es in seine vorschriftsmäßige Lage gebracht ist, diese beim anschließenden Einfüllen des Betons nicht mehr verändert. Die Bewehrung liegt infolgedessen nach dem Aussobalen überall genau,in dem Abstand von der Innen- und Außenwand des Schornsteines, der zur Sicherung des fertigen Bauwerkes, insbesondere im Hinblick auf die Einwirkungen der angreifenden Windkräfte, unerläßlich ist.
