Description
Fahrradlenkstangen, die nach unten bzw. oben klappbar sind, sind seit langem bekannt. Hierbei war \-or allein beabsichtigt, die Lenkstangengrifle in eine dem Fahrer bequeme Lage zu bringen. Es haften diesen Konstruktionen aber Mängel an, die eine wesentliche Verteuerung bedeuten. Hierin ist auch der Grund zu sehen, daß sie nie zur Ausführung kamen und auf dem 'Markt erschienen.Bicycle handlebars that can be folded up or down have been around since known for a long time. Die Erfindung verfolgt hingegen ein anderes Ziel. Beim Abstellen von Fährrädern in engen Räumen, in Korridoren, beim Transport auf der Eisenbahn, beim Abstellen auf Fabrikhöfen in Abstellgestellen wird immer die Sperrigkeit und die Baubreite des Rades als störend empfunden. Durch die Erfindung ist es möglich, das Zwei- bis Dreifache an Rädern auf gleichem Raum unterzubringen. ' Weiterhin ist mit der Erfindung eine zweifache Diebstahlsicherung beabsichtigt. Sie besteht einmal in der Blockierung der Lenkbarkeit des Vorderrades. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß die beiden Lenkstangengriffe' i und 2 (Fig. 2) sich eng an das schräge Fahrradrahmenrohr bzw. bei sehr hoch gestellter Lenkstange an einen leicht anzubringenden Zwischensteg 3 anlegen. Dieser Zwischensteg ist > ,o ausgebildet, daß auch bei nach oben abgebogener Lenkstange diese Anlage erreicht wird. Eine weitere Sicherung wird dadurch erreicht, daß ein an einer Lenkstangenhälftc angebrachter Sperrhebel (Fig. i) zwischen die Speichen des Vorderrades greift. Hierdurch ist die Drehbarkeit des Vorderrades blockiert. Der Sperrliebel4 ist bei Nichtgebrauch an die Lenkstange anklappbar. In der nach unten geklappten Sperrstellung der Lenkstange werden die beiden Lenkstangenhälften durch zwei Schließstücke 5 und 6 (Fig. 2) mittels des Sperrbolzens eines Zahlen- oder Schlüsselschlosses gegen unberufenes Hochklappen fest miteinander verbunden. An Stelle des Zahlenschlosses 7 kann zwecks Verbilligung ohne Veränderung der Schließstücke in deren Bohrungen ein gewöhnliches Vorhängeschloß eingehängt werden. In fahrbereitem Zustand des Fahrrades, also bei hochgeklappten Lenkstangenhälften, werden diese durch einen Schraul>eitl>olzeii 8 mit dem Gabelkopf.i i. verbunden. Der Schraubenbolzen 8, dessen Kopf 9 nach unten in einen Konus ausläuft, greift in Aussparungen der inneren Lenkstangenhälften ein. Hierdurch werden diese auf die Mutterplatte io gepreßt. Durch diese Anordnung ist eine Sicherung gegen Lockerwerden während der Fahrt erreicht. Eine beispie'lsw-eiseAusführung zeigen Fig. i und 2.The invention, however, has a different aim.
