Derartige Verkleidungen werden durch Naßverklebung oder mit Hilfe von Kontaktklebern direkt mit der Innenfläche der Fahrzeugdächer verklebt. Sie bestehen im allgemeinen aus mehreren Materialschichten, die durch die Kombination ihrer spezifischen Eigenschaften die Erfüllung der an eine solche Verkleidung zu stellenden Forderungen bzgl. Schalldämmung, Aufpralldämpfung, Stabilität und Oberflächenästhetik gewährleisten sollen, und können aus Kunststoffschäumen, Kunststoffolien, Kunst- bzw.
