Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anordnung bei elektrischen Kochherden
mit drei oder mehreren mittels Schaltern einstellbaren Kochplatten. Bei derartigen
Kochherden sollen die Schalter sowohl für die Kochplatten wie für sonstige dem Kochherd
zugehörige Erhitzungsanordnungen leicht zugänglich sein. Sie werden deshalb gewöhnlich
an der Vorderseite des Kochherdes angebracht. Auf der Zeichnung wird in Abb. i eine
bekannte und sehr viel verwendete Anordnung, in welcher die Schalter in einer Reihe
oben an der Vorderseite des Herdes angebracht sind, gezeigt. Bei dieser Ausführungsform
ist die Zugänglichkeit zufriedenstellend, aber diese Anordnung hat gewisse Nachteile.
So sind die Griffe der Schalter den ausströmenden Bratdämpfen des Ofens ausgesetzt,
so daß man bei der Konstruktion dieser Griffe in der Wahl des Materials und der
Ausführung der Griffe begrenzt ist. Ferner ist es nicht möglich, eine solche Anordnung
der Griffe zu erzielen, daß die Person, die den Herd bedient, direkt an der Lage
der Griffe erkennen kann, zu welcher Kochplatte ein bestimmter Griff gehört. Män
muß deshalb jeden Griff mit einer Bezeichnung oder einem Symbol versehen, der angibt,
zu welcher Platte er gehört. Diese Bezeichnung kann natürlich auch an der Vorderseite
des Herdes angebracht werden, nahe an dem betreffenden Griff. In praktischem Gebrauch
hat es sich jedoch erwiesen, daß beim Bedienen des Herdes leicht Verwechslungen
vorkommen, und daher besteht der Wunsch, daß die Anordnung der Griffe eine derartige
ist, daß daraus direkt und klar ersichtlich ist, zu welcher Platte der betreffende

Die Nachteile der bisher verwendeten, oben beschriebenen Anordnungen

Feld auf der Vorderseite des Herdes vereinigt und so angeordnet sind, daß sie die
Lage der Kochplatten auf dem Herd nachbilden. Die - Anordnung wird durch die Abbildungen
3, 4 und 5 veranschaulicht. Abb. 3 ist eine perspektivische Ansicht einer Ausführungsform
der Erfindung. Abb.4 ist eine Vorderansicht eines Schaltfeldes für eine andere Ausführungsform
der Erfindung, und Abb. 5 ist ein Querschnitt durch dieses Feld. Die Abbildungen
zeigen die Erfindung, die einem Kochherd mit vier Kochplatten i, 2, 3, 4, einem
Back- und Bratofen 5 und einem Wärmeschrank 6 angepaßt ist. 7 ist ein Aufbewahrungsraum
für verschiedenes Zubehör des Herdes. Die Griffe 8, 9, io, ii für die Schalter des
Herdes sind hier auf einem besonderen Schaltfeld 12 zusammengefügt, angebracht an
der Seite des Ofens. Ferner sind die Schalter für die Kochplatten so im Felde angeordnet,
daß sie eine Abbildung der Oberfläche des Herdes mit den Kochplatten darstellen.
Die Lage der Griffe auf dem Felde entspricht also der Lage der, Kochplatten auf
dem Herde. Die Griffe sind auf der Zeichnung kreisförmig wie die Kochplatten dargestellt.
Es ist schwer, beim Bedienen des Kochherdes Fehlgriffe zu machen, denn man sieht
augenblicklich und ohne Zweifel, daß der Griff 8 zu der Kochplatte i gehört, 9 zu
2, 1o zu 3 und ii zu 4. Auf dem Felde 12 sind auch die Signallampen 13 angeordnet
worden. Die Schalter 14, 15 .für den Ofen 5 bzw. den Wärmeschrank 6 werden
unmittelbar unter den Schaltern der Kochplatten angeordnet, zweckmäßigerweise auf
