Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Fußprothese mit Knöchelgelenk und elastischem Rückführorgan für den Fuß. Bei den bekannten Ausführungsformen besitzt das Knöchelgelenk nur eine quer liegende Achse. Fuß und Unterschenkel können daher lediglich in der Hauptrichtung, also nach vorn zu, gewinkelt werden, nicht dagegen in seitlicher Richtung. Aus diesem Grunde paßt sich der Fuß hier nur in der Gehrichtung dem Boden an, während er bei seitlich schiefer Auftrittsstelle, auch wenn deren Neigung verhältnismäßig gering ist, ausschließlich mit dem Sohlenrand auf dem Boden zu sitzen kommt, was zur Folge hat, daß der Prothesenträger auf solchem Boden mehr oder weniger unsicher geht und namentlich im Winter leicht Gefahr läuft, zu rutschen.
