Die Erfindung betrifft einen Preßstempel
für Preßverfahren mit Druckkammer und
Preßstempel, der beim Arbeiten sich selbst-
tätig dichtend an die Druckkammerwand an-
legt.
Beim Pressen von @#,Terl:stoffen, sei es zur
Formgebung oder zur Verdichtung, ist es er-
forderlich, daß der Preßstempel genau in die
Druckkammer eingepaßt ist. Das Einpassen
massier, unnachgiebiger Preßstempel ist
schwierig. Überdies verlieren sie beim
Arbeiten sehr bald ihre Passung und werden
undicht.
Es sind Preßst°mpel bekannt, welche eitlen
,en den Druckraum zu offenen Hohlraum
, geg
haben, dabei einen schrie denförmigen Rand
bildend, der sich unter Druckeinwirkung
dichtend an die Wandung der Kammer an-
legt. Werden derartige . Pre ßstempel zur
Foringehung verwendet, so ist bei der Ge-
staltung der ztt pressenden Werkstücke weit-
gehend auf die Hohlform der Preßstempel
Rücksicht zu nehmen. Die Möglichkeit der
Verwendung solcher Preßstempel ist somit
eingeschränkt. Bei Verwendung zu Verdich-
tungszwecken bleiben der Hohlform ent-
sprechende unzweckmäßig große Preßreste
zurück.
Eine andere Ausführungsform bedient sich
besonderer Dichtungsplatten, welche nach
dem Beschicken dir Druckkamtuer auf das
Preßgut aufgesetzt werden utiddenPreßdrucl;
des Preßstempels aufnehmen, wobei sie unter
der Einwirkung desselben sich federnd all die
Kammerwandung anlegen und so die ge-
wünschte Dichtung erzeugen sollen. Außer
den bereits obener wähnten Nachteilen hat
diese Ausführungsform den weiteren Mangel,
daß zum Einlegen und Entfernen der Dich-
tungsplatten ein besonderer Arbeitsgang nötig
ist und daß die hierzu und zum Reinigen der
Dichtungsplatten nötige- Zeit bei jedem
Arbeitsspiel von neuem nötig ist.
Durch die Erfindung werden nun die
Mängel der bekannten Ausführungen besei-
tigt und wird insofern ein wesentlicher Fort-
schritt gebracht, als dabei die Gestaltung der
zu pressenden Werkstücke in keiner Weise,
m°.lir an die (beispielsweise konkave) Aus-
bildung des Preßst-°nipels gebunden ist. Des
weiteren können etwa entstehende preßreste
nttn auf ein Isleinstvolurnen h:schränkt wer-
den. Auch sind 1)esondere Arbeitsgänge zurr
Einligen, Entfernen und Wiederherrichten
